Beautiful hotel with incredible service - already booked to come back!. This hotel was fabulous, we loved everything about it & the staff were incredible. The hotel was incredibly clean & the setting is really lovely - you could be anywhere!. Nothing, we would stay again. Would be nice to have a pool but not essential. Our view was on to the road but we could have upgraded to a lake view..

Awful, expensive weekend retreat with hassle, bad staff attitudes and unfulfilled promises. This will be as brief as possible a summary of what was probably the worst hotel experience in decades of travel …..at a cost of over €715 for two nights, with no breakfast.
Check in: wouldn’t accept American Express, despite website claiming otherwise and having booked with that card
They then used my Visa Credit Card and tried to debit twice, resulting in my credit card being blocked. Took hours to resolve.
Duty manager dismissed my issues at check in: “29 other people have been fine”. Hardly a great attitude or way to try to resolve my issues
Later, the General Manager came to my room offering a free bottle of champagne - my wife and I could not speak properly at that time, as we were on the phone to Booking.com / trying to get credit card unblocked. The champagne never arrived.
Despite being a spa hotel, no spa facilities are available unless you have pre booked. It’s only open to customers on Monday to Friday.
Waited in bar to be served on Saturday evening for over 15 minutes. We (my wife, me and a friend who was with us and experienced similar check in / check out issues) were not served so we left to drink / eat elsewhere.. .

Versailles meets the zen of nature. L’étangs de Corot meets all the standards you would expect from a Mr & Mrs Smith or Relais et Château property. It is intimate and unique with warm hospitality in a beautiful setting. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. Make sure to walk around the pond while you’re there! One of the days was my mom’s 60th birthday. We did the bubbles experience at the spa and had dinner at cafe des artistes. Thank you to the staff, but especially Julien at the cafe, who made the day extra special.
Easy access to Versailles- about 10 minutes to the chateau by car. Ubers were easy to get.. .
