Wonderful surroundings;great ideas; hope to return. Staff were in the main welcoming and quick to remember what we liked. Very good with the children; range of activities for them- 11 year old especially enoyed "water fight" and pool. Also family activities, incuding walks in the country; 2 year old loved the animals- chickens, goats and pregnant cow! I was well looked after when I fell over- my fault- and hotel arranged taxi to and from hospital. The food was excellent- breakfast full of variety for all tastes- including vegan, vegetarian and carnivore. Staff very flexible about where you could eat. The eco-shop provided interesting options and was open generously. The pool was excellent for children especially, with loungers around and a guard. All felt safe as staff accessible and much in evidence. The hotel had only been open for a couple of months, so there was still work going on outside- cutting down, putting up fences, planting; so young children did have to be watched closely; but this did not intrude or disrupt the holiday- we just want to go back to see how it develops, especially in growing food and increasing the number and variety of animals. The first day it rained, but this gave us a chance to splash in puddles and get wet!Free transport to Barcelona and back and to the beach and back was very welcome and worked very well; we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and not having to take a car ourselves. For us the spa was a secondary consideration but the experience was enjoyable and relaxing. Bicycles available.. .

. I like this resort, although my wife found it uncomfortable. We have been in many 5 stars hotels in Spain, our expectation when we reserved our stay (about 5 nights) we expected 5 star treatment and facilities, unfortunately, this is not 5 stars hotel, you got to lower your expectations. no coffee maker in the room. We upgraded our stay to suite, but even the suite have no separated room nor enough space. overall, the location, the staff, and the environment were amazing and we enjoyed it.. .

. Écologique, familial, unique, en pleine nature. Les bains AIRE sont exceptionnels! Très peu d'options de bars/restaurants, pas d'épicerie fine non plus sur place.. .

Fantastic hotel - in the making!. Mas Salagros hotel WILL be an amazing hotel when it is finally finished. It is in a beautiful, tranquil setting. The food and wine are gastronomic delights. The main downside is that the main pool has not yet been built and there are limited shuttle journeys to and from Masnou beach and Barcleona. There are also too few places to sunbathe peacefully. Not many staff speak good English. The rooms are clean with a good, powerful shower and beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning works well too. For the price it is an excellent hotel however, if you do not manage to book the complimentary hotel shuttle it would cost 55 euros each way in a taxi and there is only a very limited public bus service from the nearby town of Vallromanes to Barcelona. You need to be prepared that the hotel is very new and there are a number of teething problems at present. Having said all that, I would definitely recommend a short stay at Mas Salagros.. .

. Really nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Really friendly staff, lovely food, lovely pools, nice rooms. Also only 35 mins on train from Montmelo/Granollers into Barcelona. .

. Very nice resort, quiet and beautiful. But it was difficult to book the spa during our stay. It would be much more convenient if they had some online booking options that we could make before traveling. .

Speraba más. El hotel está bien, en un entorno bonito. Las habitaciones me parecen que no corresponden a un 5 estrellas. La cama havía mucho ruido y tanto la puerta del baño como de la ducha chirriaban mucho, por lo que era dificil descansar correctamente. El espacio en la piscina limitado para tanta gente y el agua bastante sucia. El servico y amabilidad delnpersonal lo mejor. Recomiendo el spa, si hay poca gente es una buena experiencia.. .

Excellent facility. We had an excellent stay in this hotel. It is in a beautiful location and is a nice getaway from the city. Both on-site restaurants were expensive, but the quality matched the price. The town is a short walk from the hotel and there are some nice cafe style restaurants and two small markets there. I would not recommend this hotel if you are planning to sight see in Barcelona as it is a fair distance from the city center. It is great for a relaxing weekend, though! The staff is great too and was very willing to answer any questions we had about navigating the area.. .
