Great location. Friendly staff. Super clean. I'll be back.... Location, location, location. The hotel is five minutes walk from the Osmanbey Metro station, which is one stop north of Taksim and two stops south of the city end of the Metro line that goes to the IST airport. The neighbourhood has a Garment District vibe to it, so consider bringing an empty suitcase to fill - if you are good at haggling. The side street that the hotel is on is very quiet: you'd never know that you are pretty much in the centre of a mega-city. The public areas and my room were spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is excellent value for money by any standard.. There are absolutely no complaints from me. I'd gladly stay at the Shishly Palace on my next visit to Istanbul..

Nice and comfort. Recommend.. It is noticeable that the hotel has been recently renovated. Good elevator, nice furniture in the room. The bathroom is very nice. Comfortable pillows. Clean bedding. Some dishes were very tasty, especially the sweet ones. I asked for extra milk for my muesli and they gave it to me. Everywhere is clean. The hotel staff is very kind and, most importantly, not intrusive. The hotel manager first accepted dollars for payment, then complained that he could not exchange them because they were from 2006. I accepted them back, changed them at the exchange office myself and all this took place in a calm atmosphere, without any nervousness. I really appreciate it. It's nice to look out the window. Close to the metro.. Location - the hotel is near some warehouses and the alley was constantly busy with trucks. A taxi could never get there. And there are always men standing on the street, loading or unloading something. It feels like you're constantly passing by an industrial zone. It's just a small area, but it's right next to the hotel. Despite the industrial feel, I always felt safe during walking even in the evening . When there are many people in the hotel, the water is not so hot, but it is hot..
