To consider if you want to party and do not care about noises. To avoid if you want to sleep.. The location is good, easy to walk to public transport stations as well as to cross the Bosphorus to the other side of the city to visit attractions.. Impossible to sleep, at least up until 2am. I was informed that it would not be completely calm, since it is located in a nightlife neighborhood and has a bar downstairs, but I was not prepared for what it actually is. It is a building of 4-5 floors, on the ground it is an open bar with DJ music and on the top floor it is a terrace bar, also with very loud music. Not to mention since it is in a very animated and busy neighborhood, partygoers and taxis are outside in the street all the times and till very late, speaking very loudly with blasting music from cars. Many people who stay in the hotels are part of this since you can hear them running down the stairs and shouting throughout the night. The first night at the hotel was so bad, the noises were piercing and so so loud that we ended up booking an airbnb in urgency to spend the rest of our stay in Istanbul. If you do not care about noises and want to enjoy the nightlife scene of Istanbul, you might be interested in this hotel since the location is good and the room is correct to the price. Their business focus is clearly the bars, we can see that they are quite popular. Hotel is not where they are most attentive, they forgot to put blankets in our room when we checked in, so....

So and so ..... The location is perfectly for everything you wish to do (sightseeing, bars, food, market etc). The room that we were after the second day was as we expected and good enough. Nevertheless, it was also with street view as the narrow first one that had given to us the first day, and not with garden view as it is described on Booking! The staff was very friendly too!. The first day was given to us a very small room that surely was different than what we have booked. The internet wasn't connected with the given instructions, and our passports were taken photos from 3 different persons in order to connect us with a personal code from the staff (this is insecure). There wasn't a blanket or a bedsheet for having covered to your sleep, but only a short bed cover. It was necessary to ask for a duvet from the staff and not sleeping well the first 2 nights. There was too much noise from the bar every night . Finally , there was no garden view in any room of those given to us. It seemed that there was no organization about our booking from the owner side, even though the staff was trying to be strongly helpful..

Clean place, reasonably priced. Spacious and bright room with a refrigerator, which is a bonus. Excellent location.. Noise from the ground floor bar can be an issue, especially on the weekends, but nothing some solid earplugs can't solve. Personally, I don't understand people complaining about the noise. If you want peace and quiet, go to quiet but boring Sultan Ahmet. Oh and one more thing: If you're having a drink in the aforementioned bar, make sure to check the receipt, I was grossly overcharged..

Great location but some hills to walk up to.Dtaff could have been nicer. There should be more efficiency regarding the r. Great location.. First floor is a pub…they arranged us on first floor which is right on top of that pub which plays music from afternoon all the way to 3.4p.m. There’s no reception at all…the pub staff will help with check in and check out but that’s all. They will not give further assistance…originally hoping to have our room changed to another considering we have three nights and we can’t bear the noise and they didn’t even try …just ignored us..

It was a nice stay, it could be better.. The property is located nicely close to Taksim square, Galata tower, and Galata port. Clean generally with a good house keeping service daily. You get good liberty of who can visit your room.. The staff were not friendly generally, I don’t realize why was that. The bar at the terrace was nice but very small in space. It is also on a hill, so bear severance when you decide to roam on foot..

Great location; only when convenient price!. Location. Not taken care of! Entrance smell like butcher shop, I advice an air freshener.

Great value and a lovely room but EARPLUGS are a must!. I love how spacious my room was . I had a huge bed , cute balcony and walk in shower. Mini fridge was a bonus and i'm sure even more so in the summer months. The interior design was stylish , especially loved the lamps and colour choices:) they offered complementary tea and they were yummy as well as slippers!. I had issues connecting to the wifi (there is system which seems common in Turkey that you have to input your passport details) and only at the third staff attempt and second day of my stay I had Internet sorted. The place is laud at night so EARPLUGS are a must and I was lucky to have some (It would be good if the hostel offered them given how many people seem to be complaining about it). I was aware of the noise and it being a party hostel but I was surprised at the level of noise at night. Cleanliness: the place seemed more or less clean but i found few long dark hair in bathroom walls, used sponge and sticker in the shower( you can see it on the photo actually.Makes me wonder if it was cleaned after the previous guest). I was surprised this was left behind as I doubt anyone wants to re-use a sponge with hair in it....
