Although expectations were not high, the biggest disappointment was the was the staff at check in.. Convenient Location.. The member of staff on arrival was rude and unprofessional. When we arrived, the gentleman at the reception desk was arguing with another member of staff and did not acknowledge that we were there.
Although we had booked via booking.com and then followed the hotel's process and checked in online in advance, (including requesting a cot for our son), we were shouted at and told there was no record of us booking a room for 3 (2 adults + 1 child) and that we should always call any hotel before arriving to advise. If that's the case, what's the point of doing an online check in? The whole interaction was very abrasive, rude and factually incorrect..
