Very poor for a 4 star hotel!. Not much!. This is supposed to be a four star hotel! Very definitely not! We were given a very small double room on the fourth floor of a seemingly almost empty hotel. The window looked over a patch of wasteland. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The room had a poor layout with virtually bare walls with no pictures. The TV was sited to one side of the bed when it could easily have been on the bare wall facing the bed. The furniture was very tacky and the one chair badly worn. The bathroom was very poorly decorated with some peeling paint. Some tiles were cracked and the grouting very dirty. The bath was small, and instead of a separate shower it was a hand held type over the bath. There was a dirty shower curtain instead of a panel, which blew over the edge of the bath when the shower was activated. The basin was cracked and the waste on the bidet was rusty. A kettle and mugs would have been useful. The breakfast was very basic, poor quality and lacking in choice. It was probably the worst hotel of the many we have stayed in!.

Could not wait to leave and would never go back.. Nothing to like about it except dogs allowed. Room dirty, lots of hair and dust under the bed hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Restaurant disappointing no vegetarian options or gluten free. Staff not very friendly, seemed like everything too much trouble, didn’t like to answer questions or even smile..

A pretty tired hotel but a good evening meal.. The evening meal in the restaurant was very good value and good choices available. Staff were friendly. The hotel was very close to the motorway exit so perfect for a one night stopover. Plenty of free parking.. The sofas in the reception area were very old, worn and tired looking. The bathroom in our room was just about on its last legs and when other rooms ran water or flushed their loo it was quite noisy. Dogs not allowed in the restaurant or breakfast room. The breakfast was pretty basic and not a lot left when we came down towards the end of the service..
