Functional - Barely comfortable. The Location is close to L'Arc de Triomphe in a narrow side street located in an old building. Therefore the view is restricted to the street, but curtains need to be closed for privacy, anyway. The cleanliness is first class, however the room only has space for the bed, which dominates the area and whilst there is a chair, it's claustrophobic. You need to lean over to avoid knocking the TV when passing the end of the bed. That said, the room was just somewhere to sleep at night and not used for leisure. There is NO soundproofing! If the neighbours speak, you hear them, if they shower, you hear the water. I cannot contemplate how it merits a 4* rating.. None of this is meant to be complaing - merely a factual account. The shower is tiny and if you want to dry off before dripping onto the bathroom floor outside the shower's sliding semicircular doors, you'll need to be extrememly flexible. Breakfast, whilst not expensive, really was basic. The coffee was either from a percolator or a "Nespresso" machine. The only 'hot option' was to ask for an egg to be done. The continental option included small croissants and nutella sachets or a spoonful of preserve from a jar. There was a selection of cheese, ham and fruit & yoghurt..

A delightful find near the Arc.... We have been coming to Paris for over 20 years - first to Rue Cler, grace of Rick Steves. My wife found this place - so convenient to the Arc de Triomphe. Lovely. A bold two star with rooms as expected in Paris as well as a super friendly and competent staff. The air-conditioning is wonderful, and the bathroom is quite comfortable - ensuite, of course. If you drive in, there is parking available just across the street with internet booking that saves much, much money. This was a delightful find. We had a delightful 4 night stay and recommend this to all. BTW, english was spoken thru-out the area (even though we speak French). Sadly, they prefer speaking English to hearing my French ;). .

Great hotel for location, and somewhere to rest your head after a busy day sight seeing . Just back from a last minute one night trip to Paris with my two girls ages 7 and 5, we booked a triple room which consisted of a double bed beside a single bed, the girls loved that the windows opened fully and I enjoyed the views of the beautiful Parisienne architecture. We slept very well on the beds, the location is excellent, our the hotel, turn right and straight up to Ave Wigram which is so close to Arc De Triompe and Charles de Gaulle Etoile Metro centre for easy access to everything. My girls were so tired from all the trekking the first day that I had to drag them to breakfast at 9:10, it finished at 9:30 but the hotel had no issue and replenished all the food for us. Breakfast 10ish for adult, free for children. Hoyle happily stored our bags before and after we arrived. Check in 2pm, check out 12pm. It is a small compact room with a complimentary bottle of water but no tea/coffee facilities, just a hair dryer and shampoo/gel in a bottle on the wall. Space tight in room but for my kids who love lying on the bed it was perfect, 3 adults would have a problem manoeuvring in the room. We had a great stay, staff so friendly and nice, I had to pop back before departing to charge my phone for airport boarding passes etc and I did that in the foyer with a coffee. My girls had an amazing time and on their eyes it was a fancy hotel but for me it was a really good 2 star. I’d give it more. I’d rate this a great hotel for quick trips and for someone who wants a good location and won’t spend too much time in the room. It’s clean and comfortable and does the job, somewhere to rest your head with lovely staff. . .

Perfect location, area, staff and facilities. AAA+++. The staff were ultra welcoming from check in until check out. The room was very clean and the buffet breakfast was perfect with a great selection. Perfect location with just a three minute walk to the Metro station. I have stayed in so many hotels within Paris but this is the very best from location to the staff. AAA+++. .

Great Location and Friendly Staff by Arc de Triomphe!. Hotel Elysee Toile provided a great location near the Arc de Triomphe, friendly staff, reasonable price and a comfortable room for our one week stay in Paris. Although the room was smaller than in US, it was very thoughtfully appointed: queen bed, bedside tables and plugs on each side, window that opens w/ view of apartments across the street, desk area, dresser and hooks and a rod to hang clothes. Bathroom was small but serviceable. Shower had good water pressure. The room was cleaned each day. The neighborhood has multiple cafes and the walk to the Arc de Triomphe is about 5 minutes. We enjoyed our stay!!. .
