Cozy and affordable place.. It is cozy and easy to find. Grocery store just next door as well as street food. The look corresponds the pictures.. The room was quite small.

Never again.. The hotel was mostly clean, the furniture was ok, the bathroom was clean. The receptionist was very rude. Me and my friend were standing in front of the closed door with our suitcases. He saw us, unlocked the door and immediately returned to his desk. He did not even open the door for us and our very heavy suitcases. The extremely small and outdated lift did not reach all the way to our floor, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases the rest of the stairs. When we came into the room, it was so tiny that we could not open our suitcases fully or walk around the bed next to each other. One person always had to wait in one corner of the room while the other person moved around. The tap in the bathroom was constantly dropping, when we entered the room the sink in the bathroom was filled with water and there was no way to empty it because the drain was firmly closed. We called the receptionist, he said he would have someone over to fix it in the morning and until then we could use the sink without any problems as it would not overflow because of the other drain (a bit higher in the sink). We said that would not be acceptable (especially as we only stayed one night) and asked if he had another room. He said the hotel was fully booked. He then came with a screwdriver and tried to fix the sink himself. He finally removed the drain plug and the water could flow out of the sink again. He left it like that. We asked about some small compensation, he said no. Furthermore, the area was very shady with a military police operation happening next door as we arrived around 21:30 in the evening. The door of the bathroom was partially cracked and unfortunately the room door could not be locked from the inside. I will never stay in this hotel again.. .

Underestimated Delight !. The Hotel was beyond my expectations to be honnest. I came with a good friend for a weekend in Paris and had to choose a hotel near George Brassens. When i saw Hotel Clarisse i was immediably charmed. The hotel did not dissapoint. Its clean, cosy and the decoration is very uplifting. They have this perfume roaming the corridors which smelled divine. The room was a bit small but very clean which for me is more important. Beautiful tiled bathroom with just the right ammenadies. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. We didnt take breakfast cause found it a bit expense but thr coffee was yummy. All in all i think Hotel Clarisse is a great place to stay for a city trip. PS : The bed has 4 fluffy pillows, and soft warm sheets ! A BIG PLUS PLUS ! Thank you !. .

Perfect for a city break. Excellent hotel for a city break, while not in the centre of Paris itself, there is public transport a few steps away (bus and metro), lots of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable, free WiFi was a boon and although there is not a hot drinks facility in the rooms kettles are available to borrow and you can purchase coffee from the breakfast room at any time. The biggest plus for us was the staff, they were so friendly and helpful especially Daoud and Timi who put up with our attempts at speaking French with kind grace : ) we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hotel Clarisse and would happily go back.. .

Good location and welcoming staff, good facilities.. The hotel offers an good location, making it easy to explore the city's main attraction, however, pubic transportation still is needed. The accommodation are comfortable, and the staff is welcoming. ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.. While the hotel itself was comfortable and the service was excellent, I found the distance to the main attractions to a bit long, especially if you o not like walk or are with small kids..
