. The location was excellent, everything else was ok. The A/C didn’t work, we couldn’t keep the patio door open because of the neighbors smoking, short on towels/blankets, long on light switches that worked on individual lights instead of sets. There was some nice finishing touches but it has clearly been poorly constructed in some parts (a whole light panel came off the ceiling our first day). If you’re on a budget it’s fine for the location benefits but not sure we’d stay again.. .

Galata Tower Stay. Great proximity to the tower. Your taxi will have a very difficult time navigating the streets nearby. Be prepared to walk a block with your luggage. The neighborhood while safe really needs a wash. It's surprising that the hotels on the street don't each pitch in for a cleaning crew. Basic hotel presentation kind of stuff.
If you're going to be doing your hair or makeup in the room, know that the lights in the room and bathroom are dim.. .

. Stayed here for 3 nights and it’s a great little property, check in was simple and easy. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant attached to the property, we did not eat there but it looked good if you need a bite to eat. The hotel is within walking distance of public transport, sights such as the Galata tower, the Bosporus and so forth. Room itself was small, but it was clean and comfortable for two people. . .

Very disappointing hotel with bad service. Hotel management is very poor. During a 3 day stay, I spoke with 5 different receptionist and no hotel manager. Check-in late at night and apparently our room was occupied so was put in another room temporarily with little amenities. The following morning had to leave the luggages at reception until another room was ready in the afternoon. Little apologies or explanation give because staff speak very little English. Overall, the location is ok but it is on a loud commercial back street with lots of garbage. Rooms look nice on photos but in reality are quire scruffy and could do with some properly cleaning. Not recommended, not even for a low price, primarily because staff do not speak English so you cannot really complain or get things sorted out.. .
