The hotel is good but needs more attention from the staff about the breakfast and hygiene.. The location is good, breakfast is good, except the appetizers! Staff was friendly and helps us. The rooftop bar is amazing! There is parking places in front of the hotel but needs reservation.. First of all the eggplant appetizer and others was spoiled, I tried them second morning too so I can be sure to post this comment. Second the man who cleans the tables, touched his shoes and then continued to clean the table with dirty hands and touched the cleaned stuff - so emphasize hygiene please! Our room was too small and I don’t like that it was at first floor, at the same as reception..

A feeling of home in the heart of Istanbul. We spent 3 nights at the Katelya Hotel and we were very happy with our stay. The hotel has an amazingly central location in Istanbul with walking distance to many of the most famous attractions like the Grand Bazaar. The hotel is small and cute with a relaxing atmosphere and we were very satisfied with our room also. The people working at the hotel were super friendly and helpful, and they took care of transportation for us to get to the hotel from the Istanbul airport, and also when we had to go back to the airport on the last day. They also helped us with taking care of cleaning our laundry. The hotel breakfast was very good and the people taking care of breakfast made fresh omelettes for us every morning, which we very much appreciated. We would most definitely stay here again on our next trip to Istanbul.. .
