Don't choose it if you need 24hour reception. Location was perfrect nearby Roma Termini. Also plenty of choices for dinner nearby. Staff was replying promptly on our questions on Whatsup and thankfully we were able to orient ourselves on the area. In the facilities it is mentioning a 24 hours reception service which isn't accurate. We have been offered advises on whatsup in order to get our key (kind of a treasure hunt) and the stay was problem free though we chose a hotel (instead of a cheaper alternative) for the reason of having an actual person being on the premises in case something didn't go as planned. I am considering this difference from the description misleading. COVID is no longer an reason do deviate from what you advertise. If there isn't a 24 hour service this should change on booking.com Shower is marginally big for an adult Breakfast is served 8-10 which is again outside normal breakfast hours for a hotel. We left earlier than 8, no alternatives (or a discount) offered.

I would stay with them again.. Great location right near the Termini station. Five minute walk. The staff was friendly, breakfast was fine. No frills, nothing fancy, but good value for location and the price.. .

Can't say enough good things about the location, quality, cleanliness and affordability of this hotel!. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 8-night stay at the Hotel Orlanda -- from the friendly greeting we received from Marco at the front desk after a very long and sleepless flight to his warm and generous goodbye as we headed to Sorrento, our stay could not have been more perfect. The hotel is ideally located just a few minutes walk (even with luggage) from the Termini main train station which also seamlessly connects to both of the major subway lines and virtually all of the bus routes. Marco was kind enough to secure our luggage upon early arrival and until our room was available, so we took advantage of the time to walk a few short blocks over to the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and to explore the surrounding neighborhood. Our room was light and airy and a comfortable size with two twin mattresses combined to make a roomy King bed and there was plenty of storage space for our clothing. The bathroom was fine, but the shower was a little tight for two large Americans who are all elbows and knees. We did not opt for the offered breakfast addition, instead finding a local place that more than sufficed for our coffee and pastry needs. Marco was extremely helpful with maps, directions and transit recommendations and the staff kept our room and the common areas in immaculate condition. Two additional things in Hotel Orlanda's plus column are the fact that it has both an elevator and well-functioning air conditioning which was a must during our late September stay. . .

Next time when I visit Rome, will not stay in this place because much more modern apartments avail.. Location is very close to Termini and that's why we have picked this location. The staff were very helpful and provided all required steps in video format and in pdf for me to self-check-in. In reception they agreed to keep our luggage for couple of hours after check-out and they were very friendly.. It was our first day in Rome and for that price I initially thought that this is ok. But I have decided not to stay in Orlanda and book another venue for my 4 days stay. After seeing another place, I understood that Hotel Orlanda wasn't best offer for that price. In the same distance from Termini there are much wider and more modern options available. The room which has been given to us was with strong smell of some oldness, we had to open both windows to circulate some air but couldn't sleep as it was noisy around. Bathroom and room itself were old repair and must be modernized to attract tourists..

Great location, friendly, helpful staff. Nice and clean!. Close to Centrale FS and lots of restaurants around. Staff were amazing! Woman at reception in the evening even helped me buy tickets online and gave me tea and honey when I developed a sore throat. Can’t get much nicer than that. Everything was very clean!. I don’t take elevators so it was a lot of stairs but that can’t be helped. Breakfast was a bit rudimentary but fine for a short stay..

Disappointing. The only thing was that they clean the room after the first night. The staff was responsive.. Its not a stand alone hotel. They have one flor in a shared building. The neighborhood looks dangerous at night. There are strange people around the entrance of the building..

Basic hotel with 5-minute walk of Termini Station. We arrived here around 11:00 a.m. after a train trip from Florence. I had booked this hotel for our final night in Rome mostly due to its close proximity to the Termini Station – about 2 short blocks away. Finding the hotel was initially a moderate challenge. I had the street # (76) and found that on a sign. This was above an entry into a courtyard, from which at least 2 other hallways branched out. Then there was a list of around 4 hotels, which apparently were each on a different floor. I had not seen a configuration like this before. The elevator was small – it could accommodate 2 people or 1 person and 2 bags at a time. It took us 3 trips to get up to floor 3. The lady who greeted us at the front desk was quite helpful. Our room was ready in 15 minutes (which was a pleasant surprise). We unpacked somewhat and did our airline check-in, as she had offered to print our tickets at the desk. The room itself seemed relatively big. There was plenty of space for suitcases. The bathroom was small, and the shower stall was an afterthought (sort of a 3’x3’ closet, though it did keep the water in). The area around the hotel had plenty of restaurants and café’s though it seemed a bit rougher then, areas another 5 to 10-minutes’ walk away. I think the area gets better the further you walk from the train station. We had to get up by 4 a.m. to start packing up to head to the airport, so if there was any sort of breakfast offering, we didn’t partake. They did have a coffee maker that worked during business hours. The front desk was staffed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and they had an after-hours call #. This hotel served our needs for a final jumping-off point for returning home. . .
