An average Place in a bad surrounding. An average decent accommodation in a run down neighborhood. Hotel royal paris is all but Royal. Its located right at the border of ivery-sur-seine and Vitry-sur-seine. There are some abandoned and commercial buildings nearby which gives the whole place a unpleasant atmosphere. Although main Ivery-sur-seine seems to be a nice bustling place, this hotel is a bit far from that pleasant parisian area. It is more closer to Vitry-sur-seine which seems more like a crime infected, graffiti laden neighborhood. If you are new to the area, you would like to avoid this particular part of the city. The nearest Metro station is 15 min walk and falls in the Vitry area. Ivery-sur- seine Metro stop is 25 min walk and runs though some abandoned part of the town. Overall, an overnight stay may be ok but I would avoid this part if the city if visiting for vacation.. .

Satisfied stay. Overall the quality of the hotel was good for a budget hotel. The room was clean and was cleaned everyday and the staff were pleasant and lovely. The transport connections were in my opinion good only one bus to metro stations close by such as quai de la gare or Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand which took you to Paris and all the attraction in Paris. The transport in Paris is very good and easy to use even if it’s your first time in Paris. Also there was a Lidl near by a 5 minute walk away which was very useful during my stay in getting essentials and food. Also a lot of food restaurants near by which was also useful. However, the walls are not sound proof so you can hear people walking in the corridors and talking. Also above me especially on the first night there was a lot of banging but stopped by 11pm. This is a very good hotel to book when on a budget. .

Not a Paris hotel. This hotel should be avoided if you want to go to Paris, it is in a non tourist part of the city with no tourist friendly restaurants or bars. The nearest train station (not metro) is a 10 minute walk away and the trip to the city is 40 minutes. The hotel lobby and reception area is nice however that is where it ends. Our room stank of smoke and was in dire need of an overhaul. During our stay the lift was broken and we had to use the stairs which were filthy dirty for the time we were there. Given the location and disrepair of the room we only stayed one night and moved hotels to the Montparnasse region of the city which is a great location with superb metro links to anywhere in the city.. .

. Very nice customer service. I love everything about this hotel. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to save and yet have quality for the buck. I came to visit family living near here, but they did not have enough room to accommodate us, so we chose this for proximity. . .
