Racist experience in a subpar neighborhood. This is NOT the cute part of Montemarte. Nothing. It was dirty. They do not change sheets or clean the room regardless how long you stay.. The operators are racists. As an interracial couple it was extremely difficult to understand how the operation team seemed to think that my husband was not a hotel guest after taking his passport. They insisted he was not a guest and tried to charge us for an extra person in the room. They threatened to call the police bc my daughter who lives in Paris came to visit us in the room bc they insisted my husband wasn’t a guest. It was bizarre..

Great value in quiet part of 18th.. Clean comfortable room, great shower. Cozy but not cramped. Very good location, not in the heart of tourist Paris, but great base for walking. On the quiet everyday north slope of Montmartre. Many cafes nearby. Easy arrival fromGare du Nord (one bus). Fantastic food shops on Rue Damrémant, the cross street.. No negatives..

Pleasant. It was clean.. Toilet was too small, water was barely hot and you can hear people in the hall way and outside.
