Cozy friendly boutique hotel. Stayed with my daughters and we found it to be very cozy and comfortable. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a nice bathroom en- suite. It has a safe and minibar. The reception staff were so friendly and lovely, always willing to help. Thank you so much Hotel Romano and especially Santo. (All reception staff but we only knew Santo by name.) The area is very good, close to the Colosseo and restaurants. Recommended.. .

Nice Boutique Hotel Close to Major Sites. Nice hotel close to all of the action. Service was friendly and we appreciated that the front desk was staffed 24/7. Room was clean and well furnished. Bed was comfortable. Despite being in the city center, noise was not an issue. We loved the view of the forum, Trajan's column, and the Victor Emmanuel II Monument. The Colosseo metro station is a short walk away and was convenient for traveling between Termini train station and the hotel.. .

5 * for service, cleanliness and service.. No dislikes but if you’re after hotel facilities there are none as this is a boutique hotel so that’s the only reason I have marked down. Everything you need however is a step away. Hotel may be marked 2 star but it’s 5 star for service, cleanliness, location etc. I would recommend this hotel to any visitor to Rome.. .

Perfect home base for 1st visit to Roma.. Visited for several days on our first visit to Rome. The location is absolutely amazing. EASY walking to the Colosseum, the forums, Palatine Hill, and many other major historical sites. Convenient also to dining, shopping, and taxi access. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. The hotel is older (understandably in light of its location), but well-maintained and clean (daily housekeeping service was great!). It isn’t “fancy,” but it is welcoming, comfortable, safe, and provides an excellent location from which to explore the historic sites of Rome.. .

Loved our stay at Hotel Ramono!!!!. Absolutely a delightful stay! My wife and I were so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone always greeted you with a smile and were more than eager to assist in anything that you needed. This quaint boutique hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was perfect! The only time that we took a taxi was to go to a very early morning tour of the Vatican. We walked everywhere else with no problem at all. Always felt very safe walking to and from the hotel day or night. Our favorite walk from the hotel was to the Trastevere and Jewish Ghetto area. Such a beautiful and unique part of Rome. I am always a little nervous when deciding on a hotel in a place that we are visiting for the first time. Deciding to stay at Hotel Ramono when in Rome is an excellent choice! Many thanks to the staff for a wonderful stay!!!!. .

Not as good as the booking.com photos or the reviews. Loved the location Disliked the air con - terrible No bar or breakfast available No water or water glasses in the room. .

Excellent staff & welcoming. Staff was extremely welcoming, gave lots of local advice on various sights and made us feel very welcome. Ideal location for many of the sights. .
