Economy rooms have no windows and when asked to change to a different room that doesn’t feel like a basement they asked for price increase
Apparently it’s written in small print somewhere on the booking site that economy rooms has no windows! And the lobby smelled cigarette smoking the entire time!
Not worth $100 per night not even $70.

. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It’s in a perfect location, 200m from the tram station and 200m from the Tünel so visiting places is very very easy. I would recommend this place as it’s in a ideal location. Would surely stay here again!. .

A gem in Istanbul , centrally located, great staff. Peninsula Galata is centrally located; steps from the ferry and the tram, and less than 5 min walking distance to Galata tower and taksim square. It's a great hotel with breakfast buffet, wifi and 24 hour reception with incredibly helpful staff members. Definitely recommended to all travelers. . .
