We had a fantastic time here. The beds were comfortable and everyone was very friendly and helpful.. It was a very fun property with a great vibe. It was charming and had a lot going on with the restaurants and outdoor space. The decorations were fun also.. It was not in the city center but a short metro ride away. Not a big deal for us but something to know if that is important to you. It is close to public transportation and about a 15 minute walk to Vatican City..

Excellent very friendly staff. Our first evening in Mama Shelter we decided to spend it in the hotel restaurant . The food was very nice Ragu Pasta and Burgers . Our waiter Simione recommended some excellent deserts and cocktails and they were very nice. What a great guy! The atmosphere here is great and all the staff are so friendly, well done. I south’s highly recommend this hotel and we have only been here one night ! Still 2 to go !. .

Overall a good hotel but few minor gripes let it down….. Recently returned from a 4 night stay here during our trip to Rome. Check in process was quick and easy, and our room was comfortable for the most part. Really missed having coffee facilities in the room and I feel this is something they should reconsider- we can’t be the only ones who like a coffee before heading down to breakfast? Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food and it was all delicious. The process of getting hot drinks was not particularly clear - there is a self serve coffee machine which provides some basic options for use alongside facilities to make tea. But if you manage to flag down a member of staff you can also order a coffee to be made for you. During our stay nobody came to the table to ask if we’d like one, we just had to try and find someone and ask. We ate twice in the hotel and enjoyed it but found it to be the most expensive place we ate during our stay. Again, much like breakfast, the service was a bit disjointed during dinner. Multiple members of staff, all serving various tables, I was never quite sure who to ask if we required something. This is not a criticism of the staff themselves as they were all friendly and very happy to help, we just never seemed to have one server for the entirety of a meal. Food itself was excellent. Location was goods for us as we didn’t mind not being in the centre of Rome and were happy to take Ubers/taxi to further afield attractions.. .

Good. Good location close to metro and has great restaurants/shops/cafes nearby. The hotel only provide water on the first day and do not replenish this. For a high end hotel I’d expect more..

I highly recommend Mama Shelter. The hotel is located 190 meters from the metro Cipro, only 10 minutes to the center, very convenient. The hotel is beautifully decorated both outside and inside. The rooms are clean, comfortable, cleaned every day. Delicious breakfasts and hospitable staff. We were checked in even earlier, for which we were very grateful after a long journey. When we checked out at 2:00AM, stuff helped us call a taxi to airport and gave us water. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. The only drawback, I would like to mention is the reservation deposit on a credit card, which cannot be replaced with cash. The deposit is not returned immediately after check-out. Deposit still hasn't been returned..

The Best Weekend Brunch in Rome🇮🇹. Not only a beautiful designed hotel Mama Shelter Rome also offers amazing Weekend Brunch with amazing selection of savory, sweet and gelato for you to enjoy for Brunch, on Sunday they also have a dj that will make the hang over brunch experience to be amazing. They also have great services and kudos to Giovanni and Samuelle that give amazing services - I will definitely come back to stay and enjoy the Brunch at Mama Shelter Rome.. .

Superb. Great hotel! We really enjoyed our stay there. Spacious room, clean. Great location. Very close to metro station, so it was very convenient. Grocery stores and good restaurants near by.. Bathroom toiletries - Soap 3 in 1, was not very good. So don't forget to take your shampoo ;).
