It was a very pleasant experience.. Great location for tourists. Close to metro and İstiklal Avenue.. Difficult for guests with a car. There is a private parking just in the next building. It costs about 15$ per day. But it is not easy to find a free parking spot there. Also the roads in the neighborhood are very narrow - just for experienced drivers..

I would recommend this for nice staff, comfortable stay in a pleasant location.. We had a very nice welcome and introductory chat with tips on exploring Istanbul which was helpful. The room was very clean & comfortable and it was as described. We had a very small balcony, our view was mediocre, but we knew this when we booked this particular room. We like the location, for example walking to the Egyptian Spice Market is about 20 minutes. We could walk to the public transport to access all other parts of the city. There are restaurants and bars nearby, but it's also not far to walk to other areas (north or south) for more variation.. Nothing really, we were pleased with the stay.

Great location, great hotel, great people.. Location is great if first time in Istanbul. Galata area is quite touristic but nice location. Easy to get almost anywhere.. Istanbul is quite noisy. That has nothing to do with the hotel though... Area is for tourists, so a bit hard to find anything real local. After some research and walking there is plenty of nice options around. Just don't wait anything super real around Galata Tower..
