Unfortunately this is not a 4 star hotel. I have to compliment the personnel who were extremely polite and nice, the first day when we noticed the heating wasn't working they gave us an electric heater so we can stay warm, our bed was made every day when we got to the room, it was tidied up and the towels were folded.
The breakfast was fresh every day and you can really choose between a lot - croissants, pain au chocolat, cereal, eggs, toast, salami and cheese, coffee, fresh orange juice and so on...
The location was perfect, 5 minutes of walking got us to the metro and within 20-30 minutes with the metro we were able to get to the most famous museums and monuments.. Unfortunately this is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. The heating was not working, the outlets were coming out of the walls, the lights in the bathroom weren't working right, there were moments when brown water was going in the toilet when we flushed, the toilet seat was broken, the paint was peeling on the doors. The quality of the room is expected to bee much better considering the 4 star rating and personally I would rate it at 2 or 3 stars max..

Charming traditional hotel in superb location. Traditional French hotel, rather than modern and without character.
Superb location for RER trains to both airports and other Metro lines. Also one of the best Parisian shopping streets, Rue Daguerre, is just around the corner.
The hotel knew we had stayed there 3 years ago and gave us the same charming room again.. It took a while to understand how to work the heating, but it worked well when we found out!.

Perfect stay, for past 20 years when I am in Paris.. Close to Montparnasse and Denfert Rochereau, very practical access to CDG airport and subway lines. 3 minutes walk to rue Daguerre, a village mood, safe and lively, real Paris.. .
