Couples' Enrichment Weekend. It was a couples' enrichment weekend, and this hotel made it a truly memorable experience. From the excellent customer service to the spacious and comfortable room, our stay felt incredibly welcoming. We made good use of the gym—although small, it served its purpose well. The reception staff kindly gave us a card for a local restaurant, which gave us a free glass of champagne, a thoughtful touch we truly appreciated. An excellent hotel—we will visit again!. .

AC1 Diagonal is an excellent choice when in Barcelona.. The hotel’s location is excellent with restaurants and tourist sites all around them as is public transportation. The hotel is excellent for wheelchair accessible rooms. I had no issues getting around. The staff is absolutely wonderful with suggestions and assistance in making our five day stay just wonderful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel on future visits. We enjoyed the food in their second floor lounge for breakfast and afternoon coffee or just appetizers and wine in the afternoon.. .

Great Hotel in Central Barcelona with Benefits. As a former "Road Warrior", with over 7,000 hotel stays, traveling for business both domestically and Internationally, I give very honest reviews. I am upper level status with Marriott, Hilton and IHG. I dress down to see how I am treated and this hotel treat my wife and I just fine. OVERALL 4.5/5 The Hotel is in a centrally located and safe area. Around and behind the hotel are a good selection of restaurants, bars, grocery stores and self service laundromats. Staff ........5/5 Location 5/5 Value.......4/5 (add breakfast & get a 5/5) Room.......4/5 (add a microwave and larger fridge, get a 5/5) SUGGESTIONS Include Breakfast Add a Microwave to the room Add a Chair Height toilet Improve the HVAC system (wasn't working well all the time) Improve TV Channel Selection Install self service laundry room ISSUES DURING STAY HVAC system wasn't keeping the room cool enough at night, check issue.. .
