Best experience, no complaints. Amazing overall!! Best location, facilities and staff. No complaints at all! It was quite quiet in the night time too, didn’t have issues being opposite the hospital. Definitely will be back :). .

Great location, comfy bed, lovely staff!. Lovely staff, fab location and lovely and comfortable room. We stayed in a room with a balcony and the view was amazing, the staff were very helpful and the beds were really comfortable incl the pillows which is something I have lacked in recent European hotels so having a comfy bed was a massive plus. The shower also was lovely. I stayed with my son as we have a weekend away in Barcelona and would definitely return, only a short walk to the metro. Highly recommend.. .

Dirty room, horrible staff and rubbish breakfast. Avoid this hotel.. Dirty and smelly room, horrible staff and rubbish breakfast, not worth it. Avoid this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay in Barcelona. If however, you must stay here, leave all your valuables at home. Better still stay somewhere else even if it cost extra.. .

Review on the San Pau Hotel in Barcelona, March 2025. The hotel room was basic but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is excellent and good value for money. The coffee shop / restaurant offers a varied menu until 3.00 pm, but it is more limited over the weekend. Meals or set menus on offer are very good value for money, and tasty.. There are no tea or coffee-making facilities in the rooms, and no safes either..

Good value, clean and comfortable room, friendly and courteous staff, convenient location. The small restaurant/bar attached to the hotel provides a good-value menu with appealing meal options, which are limited over the weekend. The restaurant is open until 3 pm, and thereafter the bar is open for drinks and light snacks until 11 pm. The buffet breakfast is also good value in terms of cost and choices, and is offered in a dedicated room just beyond the restaurant. There is a vending machine for cool drinks in the hotel lobby. The hotel and restaurant staff are friendly and courteous.. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, nor a bar fridge, and my room had no safe..

Super place to stay!. Lovely clean hotel Mimosas for breakfast - winner winner, super food at breakfast and would recommend, very clean also. Everybody was very friendly and helpful, just what you need out of a hotel, thank you for the time we had there!! Super place to stay. .

Barcelonian BAD. The breakfast was excellent, featuring a wide variety of fresh products. It was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. The location is also convenient, as it seems that almost everything is within a 20-minute taxi ride.. During the MWC event each year, Barcelona seems to have little regard for its visitors. Once again, I paid an exorbitant amount for the smallest room I have ever stayed in—a single bed at a 2-star hotel—while everything else was priced over 1,000 euros per night. In fact, I paid 275% more for the same room compared to what I would pay next week! This isn’t "free market" behavior; it feels like outright robbery, and it’s a problem throughout the city, not just at this hotel. Additionally, because I had work commitments and could not spend two hours at breakfast (as I am a slow eater), I was not allowed to take any food to my room after spending 40 minutes eating. The hotel’s policy was that "nothing can be taken from breakfast to the room," despite having paid for the breakfast rather than receiving it free of charge. When I raised my concerns, the excuses I received were, to say the least, unacceptable..

Great value for money . Simple but clean and well presented hotel close to transport links and Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau. Not far from Familia Sagrada. Good sized double room with a brilliant view (see photo) and bathroom with a bidet. Although on a busy road junction the noise wasn't a problem. Lovely staff and a decent continental breakfast. . .

Overpriced and rude staff. Check-in was pleasant but that was the highlight. The room is really basic: no safe, no fridge, no kettle. When I went down to Reception to ask about this I would rudely told "Well what did you expect for a 2 star hotel"! For the price I was paying (it was listed as a Superior room and was not cheap, the price was on a par with other, better hotels in the area) I expect the basics and politeness but I didn't get either. When I mentioned that the advert listed free toiletries in the room I was told that there was soap. Given how bare the room was, you'd expect it to be easy to clean but there was sand on the floor when arrived. Breakfast was included but I could have paid €10 or €15 (depending on which notice in the lifts you were to believe) for it. It was basic and the same everyday, plus not a lot of each dish put out. .
