Excellent location, comfortable hotel.. Breakfast was excellent: boiled eggs, cheese, pastries, coffee, tea, chocolate etc. I would have appreciated some unsweetened plant milk. Though not large, the room was comfortable.. I expected more than a small sachet of freeze dried coffee in the bedroom of a 4* hotel..

A terrible experience and by no means a four star hotel!. The breakfast was good and with a variety of buffet choices. "Aldo" in the breakfast room was especially friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel provided easy access to Notre Dame Cathedral and other major sites.. To say that we were hugely disappointed in this hotel is putting it mildly. This is advertised as a four star hotel and our expectations were that we would receive four star service. Overall, the hotel is old and tired and needs a renovation. We paid for a "superior" twin room and we were given an older, outdated, dark and noisy room. A summary of the issues with this room include a coffee maker that didn't work, chipped and scratched wooden door, cracked bathroom tiles, a dresser by the by bed that was missing a handle, peeling wall paper and hair and body liquid soap that was so watered down there were hardly any soap suds produced. The soap dispenser in the shower was also leaking and was not once cleaned up my housekeeping. The last day we were there, the room was cleaned but the toilet paper was not restocked and we had to go to the front desk to get some, much to the amusement of the short, dark haired man at the front desk who also assigned us our room. We met a couple in the breakfast room who showed us their superior double room and it was, as opposed to our room, a very nice room and they paid less than we did per night. When we asked about switching rooms, we were told none were available, even though the hotel was not full.
Regarding the hotel's response...the coffee maker was definitely not working when we left. Also, I noticed there was no response to the very poor condition of the room which you can clearly see in the photos or the housekeeping services which were seriously lacking. Why would you even think of putting customers in a room that was in such terrible condition, especially since you bill the hotel as a four star establishment?
No need to welcome us back ever. Staying at your hotel was a horrible experience and ruined what was to be a special 75th birthday celebration..
