Relaxing New Year’s Day Experience. We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton over New Year’s and decided to begin New Year’s Day with massages. An excellent way to welcome 2026. Ryan arranged our appointments and we were attended by Nana and Nisa. Both therapists were attentive and responsive to our individual needs. New year's stay in Istanbul. A great stay. We highly recommend taking the club lounge access which gives you access to breakfast, also bites and drinks for lunch and dinner. The view from the lounge is unparalleled and the staff are just the best. Elzim, Meryem, Boran, Gulcon, among others were very attentive to make our visits to the lounge memorable. The presentation of the food and wine at the Club Lounge was certainly superior to one of the restaurant we visited in the hotel.. .

Luxury experience from beginning to end!. From the minute we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. Mehmet was delightful as we checked in, we had a kind associate take us to our room (I was so tired I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name). He was very enthusiastic and helpful to get us settled into our room. Our room was fantastic, we were upgraded to a large corner suite overlooking the Bosphorus- gorgeous and a wonderful surprise. The gym and spa team were also very courteous-there is a Pilates reformer available to use!
The standout for us was the restaurant Atolye, it was excellent we ate there multiple nights. Our first night we arrived 10 minutes before closing, and the team was incredibly courteous and thoughtful. The food was absolutely amazing, my husband was somewhat nervous about Turkish food, but he enjoyed it so much we ate there again and again each and every time the service was very excellent. I wanted to give a special recommendation to Aysun who helped us each night at dinner and made sure that we had a very special evening. She was warm, friendly and helpful, by the end, she knew that my husband would order spinach as a side dish every night so she just got it ordered for us as soon as we sat down :). The Ritz called in an Istanbul an excellent choice in an excellent location if you should be in Istanbul for a few days.. .
