Good location for tourist activities, good breakfast buffet, mediocre service. This is a solidly average hotel. The location is terrific for tourist purposes, being a block away from the Eiffel Tower, a 30-minute walk to the Louvre, and about an hour walk along the Seine to Notre Dame. The rooms are a bit dated, but I appreciated the block out curtains and window that opened (especially because I found it very hot and stuffy at night, even though it was winter). The front desk staff seem like they would rather be anywhere else. They won't even consider early check in unless you pay; which I have never experienced before but there were lots of flight attendants staying at the facility and my guess is the hotel makes a fairly good sum from charging the airlines for them to check in early so the rest of us have to suffer too. No one bothers to explain the unusual elevator system, so guests end up figuring it out themselves or telling each other how to do it. The breakfast buffet is substantial, with a wide selection of breads, cheeses, cereals with yoghurt, pancakes, crepes, and waffles, and some hot foods. At 21,90 Euros it would be an OK value if 1) you're a big breakfast eater, and 2) your exchange rate is near parity. Obviously, the restaurants on Av de Suffren are aimed at tourists. Better to go away from the Tower, toward the 15th Arrondissement, for local eating establishments. I stayed during a work trip and some of my colleagues stayed at a place about 15 minutes walk away, paid about 25% less but said they could barely turn around in their rooms, so I suppose by comparison this is OK.. .

Very Disappointed and underwhelming!. Been an Accor Hotel member for many years and this is my first disappointing experience. They are busy, yes, but no excuse for poor service. I’m not going to waste much time here so I’ll keep it brief; twice we had dirty/stained towels.🤯 There was a used Band-Aid stuck to the wall behind my pillow🤮. We had the wrong bed configuration which they did not resolve or really even try to help with! 🤬. The breakfast buffet was cold and unappetising 😩. Etc Etc. Sooo disappointed! Really, the only positive thing was that it is only a 3 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. But don’t expect a view like it shows on their marketing because you’re not going to get one. Their more premium hotel, the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel is right in front. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra money and stay here instead!!!!. .

Overpaid and under performed. My family and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Horrible experience. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and despite turning off the heat and opening the window and it being 30 Degrees farenheit at night we were all sweating. We asked them to change the sheets but instead they just remade the bed (we knew this because the sheets had a stain on them and the stain was still evident after supposedly getting new bedding). I expect better for a $500/ night room with one queen bed and a pull out couch.. .

Basic level accomodation in Great location.. Hotel was located in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, amazing to walk out the door and see this beautiful icon.. Room was small, bathroom and toilet were the size of small cubicles. No remote control for TV in room and no kettle. Initially told I had to upgrade room to get a kettle although they had tea and coffee condiments in room. Venue eventually supplied kettle and remote after second complaint. Room did not live up to pics on site..

Bienvenue non!!. not the best of hotels I have ever stayed in, the check in staff were not very 'Bienvenue'. Had to ask for the rooms to be cleaned again as they were dirty on arrival. We had an issue with the shower head not staying up on the riser rail, asked three times for it to be fixed to no avail, also had a leak on the basin that wasn't fixed either. The room wasn't cleaned either as requested. Breakfast was ok albeit not the warmest, and the bacon needed another few minutes cooking time. Location was the best to be fair. Place needs some money updating it as very tired decor....... .

Pleasant accommodations. This little gem of a hotel was well appreciated by myself and my wife. We arrived to our amazement how close we were to the famous Eiffel Tower which is block away. The services at the hotel was very efficient and appreciated. Our room was small but very comfy and our bed was also good. The daily service was very good and juices and fruits was provided. The folks at the front desk was very helpful and informative. The area is very safe and that in itself is a big plus. Overall, we'll be back at Hotel Mercure in the very near future.. .
