. I got food poisoning with severe vomiting and stomach pains exactly 30 minutes after breakfast. It must have been the projuitto salami or the horrible scrambled eggs that tasted like cardboard. We had to pay 15 or 20 euros for this substandard breakfast! I explained to the front desk what happened to me and the gentleman at the desk only offered to reimburse us one breakfast instead of 2. Very poor service. Never Again!! . .

. There were extra fees and taxes and every time we used the shuttle to the airport they charge for transportation. Recommend people book a hotel in Rome if you want to walk around and see the attractions. Paid an extra $250 just for transportation services to and from the hotel in 5 days. . .

Perfect, relaxing hotel near FCO. We needed to spend a night in Rome before departing for an early morning flight and Hotel Tiber fit the bill. They were very communicative prior to our arrival, offering information about transportation to the airport at the wee hour of the morning. The room was great, location was fun as it was so nice to walk the canal and see how the locals spend a Sunday afternoon! There are oodles of restaurants so near the hotel as well as a grocery store and gelato. In some ways, it would be a nice hotel to return to after a full day in the heart of busy Rome. Pretty mellow compared to the crowds in the city.. .

Very disappointed. Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the 4-Star Rating I've traveled to Italy many times and have always had wonderful experiences — until this stay. I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has so many good reviews or a 4-star rating. It felt more like a 2-star experience at best. The rooms are extremely outdated. The bathroom still has an old bathtub that is unusually high, making it difficult to shower safely or comfortably. There's visible rust around the tub, and surprisingly, no electric outlet in the bathroom. The furniture is old, worn-out, and feels neglected. The breakfast was another major letdown. Tables were dirty and uncleared, so if you wanted to eat, you had to sit with someone else’s used dishes. Also, forget about Italy’s famed fresh coffee — everything is dispensed from a machine. The shuttle service was one of the worst parts. Completely overcrowded with both people and luggage, hot and uncomfortable. Despite multiple requests, the driver ignored us and refused to turn on the air conditioning, even laughing at our discomfort. On arrival, we were left standing in the hot sun while the driver finished a cigarette and chatted with a friend. No effort was made to assist or show any urgency. Overall, this was a waste of money and not a pleasant experience. If this hotel wants to maintain a 4-star rating, serious renovations and a complete overhaul of customer service are urgently needed.. .

. Only thing I would suggest is the shuttle bus needs upgrading. Ours had broken leaf springs back rear and the shocks were gone. Also it was too small for the luggage from all the passengers. As for the hotel, location and rooms I will definitely use this hotel again for my airport hotel in Rome. .
