Staff: Burcu was very welcoming and helpful with providing directions especially to the airport during the snow storm. The other guy (Yusuf) there also very helpful to look for a cab for us. They welcomed us with tea and Turkish delight.
Location: perfect for sightseeing, near all major attractions and bazars. So you can take breaks in between. Also near the tram.
Breakfast: lovely view of Haga Sofia and tasty breakfast! Definitely was one of the main reasons I chose this to stay there.. .

. Nowy Efendi is a really nice place to stay. The staff are amazing and always willing to help. The place is very clean. The breakfast in the morning is amazing. I would definitely stay here again and is amazing for families the location is also great in the centre where everything is. .

. We very much enjoyed our stay at Nowy Efendi Hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming and made sure we had a pleasant stay. They were especially helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport. We were pleased with the room, which was simple but clean and had everything we needed. A real highlight was the upstairs restaurant, where we had breakfast-- spectacular views of the Hagia Sofia and surrounding area! From the viewing terrace another level up it was possible to see the Blue Mosque as well and much of the city. Overall an excellent stay!. .

Great location for Old Town. I picked this hotel due to its location. It is an easy trip from the airport on the Metro/Tram then a short walk to the hotel. There are signs for the hotel as well so you can't miss it. My room was on street level, even though it is the 3rd floor. It was a comfortable size for one person, might be tight for 2. The bed was comfortable - the pillows were too hard for me so I asked for feather pillows (they advertise different types). I asked twice and never received so made do with a balled up sweater. The bathroom was good - good water pressure. There is Air Conditioning as well. Breakfast was ok but I only had it one day. The views from the roof of Istanbul are fabulous.. .

Great Hotel in Old Istanbul!. My wife and I stayed here two nights after a Mediterranean cruise. The room was very clean and modern and had air conditioning. It has a great roof top cafe with breakfast every morning. It is located in Old Istanbul . It is with in walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, restaurants and other sites. The staff was very courteous and very helpful with info on the area. They made our stay very pleasant. . .

Great Location and Great Service. We arrived early in the morning without prior notice but the front desk Burcu was nice to help us arrange for an available room and let us check in early. We were treated with a complimentary breakfast while we waited for our room. The location was at a quiet part of Sultanehmet which we really like. Away from the hustle bustle of Sultanehmet but near to all the main attraction. Highly recommend this place!. .
