Sheraton deserves five Stars!. There are 3 locations - know ahead which building you are assigned and let your driver know where to drop off.
I was nervous to stay at this hotel due to the negative reviews and 3 star rating. However, I am glad I went with Sheraton. I was assigned to building 2. The hotel is very pretty and the gym is great. Check in was fast and smooth. I was greeted with smiles and thanked for being an elite member. I was also upgraded to a suite due to my status. There was a nice note and treats due to my status.
The room was spacious and beautiful. We even had a private terrace.
The hotel is approximately 15 min from CIA and 25 min from FCO. Taxi/Uber ranges approximately $30 USD. We ubered daily to the city center which cost approximately $30-$45 USD one way, and about 25 min drive. There is shuttle service with various times that costs about $8 one way. The shuttle drops off about 15 min walk from city center. For convenience sakes, I preferred to uber than to sit around and wait for the shuttle. Time is money, get a taxi.
Breakfast was included with my status and was phenomenal. There was a dedicated employee to make coffee of your choice. You had to ask the waiter if you wanted freshly squeezed orange juice. Also ask the waiter or waitress if you want eggs Benedict or scrambled eggs.
I highly recommend the Sheraton. I had no issues whatsoever. I wish other travelers would have given the Sheraton higher ratings!. .

great vacation. The service very good. Stayed in the Sheraton golf 1 need to work on mosquitos in the room. The food and service at Sheraton golf 2 very good. October rainy month take an umbrella. Do not use the exchange money booth they charge over 20% get money exchanged before you go. They do not give your money back if you change your mind.. .

Needs improvement on check in timing and food/sevice in restaurant.. The shuttle to the airport was great and easy to negotiate The room was comfortable and clean.. Our check in was delayed for 1 and 1/2 hours. In order to pass the time we were waiting, we had lunch. The food/pasta was not good. It seemed like it came out of a microwaved pouch, little flavor and gummy. The wait staff were not attentive and left our empty plates on the table for entirely too long. We finally had to ask for the check. I expected higher standards for a Sheraton. We were invited to watch a coffee demonstration by the hotel, this was a nice gesture. But we were tired and wanted to get to our rooms..

Unbearable waiting time at reception. cleanliness of rooms. Long waiting times at reception. together with our 4 years old kid sleeping in the stroller, we waited more than half an hour at the check in quoue due to lack of staff which is totally not acceptable for the money we paid for !!!! We were even asked to wait aside to relax while the reception staff was struggling with other guests and keep calling her manager to resolve issues..

Typical convenience of staying at a Sheraton.. The bed was comfortable, the bath tub was lovely.
I am sure the pool in the summer would be nice.
Convenient location to the airport. The staff were friendly, and helped with a tech issue quickly.. Inconvenient location to everything but the airport, the rooms were out dated, and the windows are locked shut..
