Disappointing stay. Disappointing stay The hotel has potential to be a little paradise, but unfortunately it didn’t meet expectations. Rooms were not cleaned during the entire week, and upon arrival the floor was already sandy. Towels were never changed – not necessarily every day, but every 2–3 days would have been appreciated. Food is acceptable if you’re not too picky. Omelets at breakfast are definitely a highlight. However, the choice of fruit was very limited – mainly grapes and very sour green oranges or limes. The advertised “all inclusive” was quite disappointing: no cocktails, only vodka with juice available until 10 PM. Wi-Fi only works on the balcony or outside, not inside the rooms. In the evenings, it was difficult to relax or have fun at the hotel due to the extremely loud and annoying music. To enjoy ourselves, we had to go to nearby bars offering entertainment and pay extra for it – something that should have been included in the all inclusive package. The only real positive was the beautiful room view, but overall the experience fell short of expectations.. .

Golmar Beach Hotel, İçmeler – Very Disappointing Experience I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at Golmar Beach Hotel was so poor that I feel I need to warn others. The hotel itself is extremely old and has not been renovated for years. My bathroom sink was broken and clearly had been for a long time. The room and bathroom were dirty and dusty. Towels were missing, and the ones provided were stained and even had hair on them. The mattresses were sunken and dirty, the pillows were lumpy and worn out, and overall, the accommodation felt unhygienic. Around the pool, most of the sunbeds were filthy and missing mattresses. Safety was also a big concern – anyone from outside could walk into the premises, eat at the restaurant, or use the pool without being stopped. When I raised this issue with the manager, I was met with arrogance and no action was taken. The all-inclusive restaurant was equally disappointing. Food trays were empty within 20 minutes of opening, and staff would simply say “finished” instead of replacing them. There were constant shortages of clean plates and cutlery. While some food tasted fine, the choice was very limited and repetitive: usually just two main dishes, with side dishes of rice or pasta. Leftovers were reused in dips with sour yoghurt. Salads were not fresh, and desserts were reduced to syrup-soaked bread or bland pudding. Fruit options were minimal and often spoiled. Snacks at 5 pm were always the same: a couple of salty biscuits and dry bread. The service was the worst part. Staff at the bar were rude, unhelpful, and unwelcoming towards Western European guests. They spoke no languages other than Turkish and Kurdish, which made communication very difficult. Evening “entertainment” was just the same Kurdish music and dancing every night with no variety. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment. Poor hygiene, lack of proper service, repetitive food, unsafe conditions, and unprofessional staff completely ruined the holiday. I would strongly advise avoiding the Golmar Beach Hotel.. .

My kid liked the two slides and was happy about it.. Staff: some very nice, and some who should have taken a smile course. Reception staff were not so welcoming. Food: Good food for what you paid for. always something you liked but mostly Turkish food. Room: Very tired rooms, our shower was broken and never repaired, ants in the room, on the 3rd floor Cleaning: The worst we have ever experienced, we were there for 7 nights and they didn't come until the 6th day to clean. We called 3 times and they promised to come to clean but didn't come. Other guests: mostly Turks and Russians. They were rude and filled up the plate in the buffet like they had never seen food before and left a lot of food behind!! It's disrespectful to the hotel. Horrible to throw so much food away! Swimming pool: Nice area but the slides weren't up all the time. Last day: We wanted to stay longer, this wasn't a problem but we had to pay for it. When I said that I thought we shouldn't pay since there was no cleaning every day, there was no explanation for it.. .

Fantastic hotel. Will be returning to this wonderful Hotel July 25th after many years I have returned to the area twice since And every time I wish I’d booked the golmar again Have so many great memories of this fantastic Hotel. I can remember last time very excited. Regards, Harry. .

Do not go to this hotel. Once upon a time it was a good hotel. But not now. Don't go there. The furniture is so old. The food is terrible, we had a tommy ache after this food. Stuff is rude and incompetent. Room cleaner have locked my friend in balcony. My friend waited 30 min when somebody will unlock the balcony door. Room cleaner didn't lock my room door twice. I came from the beach and the door was unlocked. And on the top of everything guest relations wasn't helpful last time at all. So after all of this last few years we stayed in different hotel. We will not come back to Golmar.. .

WARNING don't go. WARNING WARNING After going to this hotel for nearly 20 years I was shocked to find out that the hotel had been sold and from what I saw it is being run into the ground on arrival our rooms weren't available as the hotel had over booked and told our rooms weren't available until 12 the next day which still wasn't ready until 2ish the manager also offered to fight my daughter when she complained they don't cater for the English only the Russian and Turkish the rooms weren't cleaned only once no new bedding no clean towels we had booked for 15 nights and never saw them clean the pool once in all this time shameful sorry to say we will never return to the golmar beach hotel içmeler Mugla. .

EXTREMELY BAD PLACE!!!. Don't know we're to start with this hotel!! The rooms are so durty they DON'T change the bedding they don't clean the bathroom as a matter of fact they don't do anything! They use dirty water to wash the floors with,,, the manger there is so rude and down speaks to people. He even as my girlfriend outside for a fight,, you got to ask for toilet paper for your room and for clean towels,, they got no English tea bags and if you do want a English tea you got to pay a £1 for one tea bag,, you get the same food every day nothing English, if you want a any English food you got to go out for food,, it's shocking in every single way and foarm,, STAY CLEAR FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!!!. .

A total nightmare. Well where do I start. It was just myself and my daughter. We booked a week here. The room we was in was dirty, fridge was disgusting, shower looked like it had never been cleaned. Wasn't even a proper ceiling in the bathroom. Furniture was old and falling apart. Asked 4 times to have the room cleaned(nothing). Went to reception for toilet rolls and a bottle of water. He said he couldn't help us, that he will tell house keeping. I walked away, a Turkish couple come in and asked fir the same thing and it was given to them! Our Rep told me to leave my 15 year old daughter on her own and go out with him!! He was meant to be helping us. The men were absolutely disgusting, disrespectful to me. We were the only English people in the hotel, it was full of Turkish. We were all inclusive. But they made me pay for an English tea bag. Not one person asked if we were OK. The reception staff just ignored me. I broke down crying as never been treated this way. We had no towels in our room. I had to ask them 5 times. It took 3 hours to get some. The toilet still had previous guests toilet paper down it. And poo stains. Under the beds were full of dirt and dust. We where the only guests not to have sunlounger cushions. Please whatever you do, DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.. .

It's not that bad). The rooms are tired. But the view from the balcony to the sea is magnificent. We liked the food, the food is delicious, but not varied. The main thing for the children was French fries and nuggets. The restaurant administrator is always in the hall, wishes you a pleasant appetite and constantly asks if you need anything. In 12 days I caught the Internet only in the lobby and not always, I had to ask the hotel guide to distribute wi-fi, he never refused. The beach area is not large. Evenings are quiet, there is no animation. But yesterday we walked in Icmeler or in Marmaris itself. Prices in Ichmiler for souvenirs and the like are much lower. We spent several evenings in restaurants of other hotels where there was live music.. .
