Bad. Our room was horrible. It was a tiny box with NO windows. There was a skylight only. The room was not soundproof at all. We could hear the girl in the room next to us cough, giggle and one night puking. The elevator is weird and makes a loud thump noise when it lands on a floor. Since we were right next to the elevator we heard that all the time. The church bells were very loud. We learned to tell time with them though. Example, at 10:00 there would be 4 loud strikes then 10 strikes that were loud only deeper, one strike at 10:15, two strikes at 10;30, three strikes at 10:45. Then at 11:00, four strikes at.a higher.pitch, 11 strikes at a lower pitch, one strike at 11:15 and so on and so on. I did complain about the room size and the fact that there were no windows and the front desk person said I need to contact Booking.com. I did that then they reached out to the hotel. Monica, the owner, said the description of the room was what I signed up for. She offered me a refund MINUS the first night's stay so I could move on.That was not an offer, it is their cancellation policy. I needed the whole refund in order to find another hotel on such short notice. Nowhere on Booking.com does the room say it has NO windows. It does say it has three twin beds, which is a joke because if it didn't there would be no room to put your suit cases. The only place to sit in the room was on the beds and let.me tell you they were the smallest twin beds I have ever seen and not comfortable at all. Monica also said she was sorry that no room with a window ever became available during my stay. My question to Monica would be this, if your hotel stayed booked completely full, why wouldn't you just give me my full refund so I could have found a different hotel? Here's the thing, I stayed at this hotel two years ago and the room was lovely. It had windows and it was soundproof. If anyone is going to stay there make sure you are not on the fifth floor.. .

A hot and stuffy sleep in but the breakfast is excellent. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Pro's: the staff were friendly, the breakfast is excellent, the hotel is in a great location in the heart of the city, it was awesome to have a balcony room and watch the world go by. Con's: a hot and stuffy room as the a/c is turned off in the winter months (which sounds reasonable, please read on). I know what you're thinking - just open the door on your balcony, duh! We did that, BUT, as mentioned, the hotel is in a great location (super busy/noisy) and the city is humming all night long. You cannot sleep with the doors open, even with earplugs in. Once the doors are shut to block out the noise, the small room got hot and stuffy within a couple of hours and there is no ceiling fan. We requested a fan from the front desk, and would you believe it, there was not one to be had in the entire hotel. They finally located one on our last night, which helped a bit with the stuffiness, but was still an uncomfortable sleep. I don't think hotels should be allowed to advertise A/C without saying if they turn it off at any point during the year. We sleep best in a cool room and take it into consideration when booking a hotel. Tea and coffee in the room would have been a nice addition as well.. .
