Great location. This hotel is in an excellent location by shopping and restaurants. And grand bazaar is a 10 minute walk. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.. my favorite part is that the hotel had a pool and sauna for guest to use for free. The rooms are very small but you don’t really spend much time in them. Only downside is the hairdryer would work for two minutes and then turn off. Otherwise, it is very clean and the breakfast has a lot of options. I would definitely come back here again.. unfortunately, the days that I am looking forward to come back. It says the hotel is sold out.. .

Rundown hotel with disrespectful and dishonest staff in an excellent location. My wife booked this hotel because of the vicinity to prime attractions within the old city of Istanbul. When we arrived, it turned out that my wife accidently put single occupancy on the reservation. I knew because of this, we would need to pay an additional fee, which would be ok if reasonable. The front desk informed us the extra occupancy was 55 Euros a night, which made the room exactly double what we paid for it. After arguing about the outrageous charge for 20 minutes, we had no choice but to pay the extra charge for the first night since we arrived extremely late (2am), and our reservation was non-refundable. The next morning, we spoke with the front desk manager. This manager was even less reasonable compared to the night before, saying we'd need to either pay that set amount or cancel our non-refundable reservation. After speaking with another manager, we were able to negotiate the 2nd night for an additional 35 Euros (my wife was staying a few extra nights alone). The worst thing about this was double occupancy, through their own website (even cheaper through 3rd party sites), online was only 25 Euros more with a superior room. In all my years of staying at hotels, I've never experienced anything close to how hotel management dealt with an issue. On the accommodations themselves, we needed to change rooms twice. The initial night, they put us in a room designed for 2 twin beds, which they instead merged into one king size. The room light switches, shown in one of my photos, was positioned in-between the twin headboards, so any time to rolled into the middle of the bed, the room lights would turn on/off. The bed comforter had a cigarette burn in it. The bathroom was gross, and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. While the second room was not as bad, it was the size of a closet, and the bathroom was also pretty dirty. In each of the bathrooms, the sinks had micro cracks in them. I'm not sure what the criteria required are to be considered a 4-star hotel in Türkiye, but this accommodation would be 1 star (2 star max) in most westernized countries. The hotel was rundown, and front desk management was by far the most disrespectful I've experienced in my life. The only positive thing I can say about this property is that it has a very convenient location. We should have done better research on reading reviews before booking accommodations, as I can see that others have had similar recent experiences. I guess we assumed we would be ok because the hotel was supposed to be a 4 star, and the average rating on experience was positive (I question how many of the positive reviews are really fake). My wife wants me to point out that the sales manager, who she describes had nice hair, was the only staff that was courteous and tried to make up a bit for all the issues we encountered.. .
