. Staff was friendly and helpful.Room wasn't adequately spacious for accommodating 4 people (2 adult and 2 children). Swimming pool wasn't safe too use (too deep for use) and children swimming pool wasn't big enough.

. Los trabajadores son muy atentos y amables!! y te ayudan con lo que necesites, lo malo que por el covid no pude disfrutar de las piscinas... El restaurante está rico, y la habitación tenía un poco de polvo, del 1 al 10 le doy un 7,5 y lo recomiendo. . .

Very Nice Hotel in a calm environment. It is my third stay at Hotel Vicenza. I like the staff, the hotel in itself, it is next to the shopping area.. .

MY WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE. First, The picture for the hotel was modified to show a spacious surrounding. The truth is it is a city hotel, in a super noisy small street with buildings all around.
The room was supposed to have one double bed, but their interpretation to double bed was two single beds next to each other, and because the mattress is super cheap, it was very light, once you get close to the center between the two beds, the two mattresses move away and you fell in the gap in between. My best night sleep was when I put the sheets on the floor and slept on the floor.
The staff are unprofessional and uncheerful, they never smile, but they will help you if you if they can.
I booked one room for me and my GF, and as I had to go one night later, we booked the room in her name and I contacted the hotel to pick her up from the airport. they told me how much the shuttle fee is and I agreed. Next day she asked them to go pick me up too. I found my GF waiting for me in the airport and the shuttle was gone. The shuttle driver told her to call him or the hotel so he come back for us. He should have expected that we are tourists staying in Istanbul for two or three nights, we might not have cell phones. I tried to find a paid phone in the airport, or a hot spot to call the shuttle driver, but no one could help me as no one speaks any English. Anyway, I took a taxi and went to the hotel. The receptionist refused to let me go to the room as the room was booked for one person. I expected to charge me 10 or 20 percent extra to let me stay, but he charged me a full price, 100 percent of the room price as If I am renting another room for myself.
At the checkout, I paid the extra person charges and was surprised when I found out that the hotel charged me 4 times for the airport shuttle fee. The catch was they said that price for the shuttle is xx Euros one way, guess what one way means?! It means for the shuttle to drive empty from the hotel to the airport thats one way, and after pick up from the airport to the hotel is one way. Also I had to pay for the second time shuttle fee, however the shuttle driver never showed up.

Great location and friendly manager Emre. The location of the hotel was great, right near the metro and about a 7 min walk to the tram (there is a small upward incline). Emre was a great manager - always greeted you and had a smile on his face, the other two managers weren't as friendly and there was a language barrier with the man who brought the suitcases upstairs. Breakfast options were good and varied almost everyday. It would be better if the cleaning lady changed the sheets more often as we stayed for 8 nights and it was only changed twice and we had to ask for more toilet tissue twice as she hadn't topped it up but she was also nice. . .

. Hotel needs upgrade. Rooms are very old and outdated, carpet is dirty and stained. large selection of breakfast menu but taste is very average. I was disappointed with suhur plate during Ramadan, only a few slices of cheese and bread. However, staff are friendly and helpful. Very good location. close to shopping and metro. . .

Swimming pools beware. Rooftop pool was the main reason I booked. It lead all the photos online and at the hotel itself. Having seen it last week two days after it supposedly shut for the winters season, I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything so grim. Half full of green slime. Battered sunchairs. Nothing 4* about the pool. Was told it closed end Sept. In the very small print ! No way this pool can have been in such a state after 2days closure. Doubt it has been open for ages. Down to the indoor pool.... to find a charge of $20 ! Hotel was advertised as having two pools. Very disappointed
Hotel restaurant was very good. Waiter service was excellent.

Generally ok. Just think pools very misleading and had I not have filtered for that option whilst searching I would likely have had a better choice . Lesson learned . .

Not as advertised . While the staff were exceptional, our stay was disappointing. The AC did not work, wifi was only accessible from reception, the roof top pool was closed for maintenance, and our room leaked from a vent in the ceiling. We were disappointed after three weeks of fantastic hotels to conclude our vacation this way.. .

Bang for the buck, but be willing to compromise. 1. The location of the hotel is great for cheap travel through and around Istanbul. The train is 5 minutes down the street.
2. The area is quiet but since the rooms are so affordable you will probably have neighbors with loud kids because the price is family friendly.
3. The beds are HARD.
4. Get a room on the higher floors so that you don't listen to draining water all night.
5. Breakfast is hot and it will due if you don't want to spend money on the extra meal.
6. The front desk people will want to keep your passport. Refuse and keep it moving.. .
