È peggiorato. Vengo qui da molto tempo e apprezzo la posizione, la presenza della piscina e della SPA. Anche le colazioni sono buone. In passato il personale alla reception era molto cortese.. Avevo chiesto una camera tranquilla e silenziosa ai piani alti. Alla mia richiesta (inviata in anticipo) non è stata prestata alcuna attenzione. Alla fine mi è stata assegnata una camera con affaccio su una strada rumorosa al terzo piano, e il sonno non è stato molto confortevole. Inoltre, lo scarico dell’acqua funzionava male ed è stato necessario chiamare il tecnico. Alla reception la signora non è stata particolarmente cortese..

Wonderful stay . Wonderful stay! Hotel was very comfortable and service excellent. The pool was lovely and a welcome respite from the heat of the day in the city.
It’s about a 30 min walk through the park into the city which we hadn’t quite appreciated but the park was a real treat so it worked out well. . .

Great Hotel, Great Staff, Great amenities...but the refurbishment is a pure catastrophy for its soul. Location magnificent, Staff outstanding and extremely helpful on all levels from house keeping, concierge, to Reception.
The Spa, the pool, absolutely incredible. The new refurbishment is a total catastrophe. Hotel lost its soul, lost all the characteristics that made it a pure class hotel.
The renovated rooms are unpractical, look like a hospital room with no character, and cheap material has been clearly used for this renovation.
Even the TV doesn't permit you to switch languages (all other hotels in Italy that use SKY have that option)....Seriously, eventhough many times i have pointed this out but it seems they don't care that foreign tourists do not speak Italian. When I come i always ask the non refurbished rooms as they have more class, bigger bath. My Deluxe Room on 4th floor didn't even have a bath.
What a shame.....
