Top 2 worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I rarely write reviews, but my recent stay at Hotel Le Clarisse al Pantheon was so unpleasant that I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I hope my feedback helps others avoid a similarly disappointing experience. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was abysmal. Upon arrival, I was dismayed to find hairs on the bed, which is completely unacceptable. The washroom was equally troubling—clearly not cleaned properly, as it started emitting a foul odor at random times throughout the day. This unpleasant smell seemed to originate from the washroom, and it made our stay quite uncomfortable. On a more positive note, I must commend Sara, the concierge, who was exceptional. Her service was genuinely outstanding and a bright spot in an otherwise bleak stay. However, the male concierge was a different story. His suggestion to use his personal cologne to mask the awful smell was not only ineffective but also quite inappropriate and unhelpful. Adding to the poor experience, the hotel cleaners solicited money on the side, which felt both unprofessional and disheartening. This kind of behavior certainly did not contribute to a positive impression. The breakfast served was another disappointment. It was far from enjoyable, lacking both quality and variety. I was truly disappointed with the options available, and it was clear that more attention needed to be paid to this aspect of the service. Finally, the overall ambiance of the hotel was unsettling. The entire property feels outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The creepiness of the place only added to the discomfort of our stay. In summary, while Sara provided excellent service, the numerous issues with cleanliness, breakfast, and the overall state of the hotel overshadowed any positive aspects. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the experience for future guests.. .

I will stay again as it’s such a gem. Amazing location , spacious and clean rooms.. Nothing!.

Great location. The location was great, rooms were lovely and clean, staff helpful. Breakfast was nice, plenty of it.. The bed was a little uncomfortable but that's just a matter of taste.

In the heart of Roma!. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Located within walking distance of everything. Beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast on the terrace was very good. The only complaint would be that the elevator was very small but that is a norm in Rome. Highly recommend. .

Lovely small hotel in a perfect position. lovely little hotel in a brilliant position for touring around Rome. Staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was served on a small covered terrace and there was plenty of choice. The ladies who served it were really helpful Rooms were well furnished, bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. we had a room facing the street and it was quite noisy first night as I had the window open. the refuse van came at 4am However this wasnt an issue as we turned the radiator off and closed the window the rest of the nights.

Great Location, Clean & Helpful Staff. The front desk and all staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a map on arrival and offered suggestions of tours and free places to visit. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The bed and pillows were super comfy and everything was very clean and well kept up. There is an elevator for guests to use even though some other reviews said that there is not. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a mid price hotel in a great location. Only 2 blocks from the Pantheon and walking distance to all major sites including Campo Di Fiori, Trevi Fountain, Roman Colosseum and others. Definitely considered 5 stars.. .

Handy Location; Great Room. My room was clean and really comfortable. Breakfast was good served by a smiling waiter. The area felt safe, was convenient to walk to a lot of landmarks and a good choice of restaurants nearby for dinner options. It was a short walk to a taxi stand.. .
