Great location . Lovely little hotel, value for money, amazing location , I could actually see the Roman forum from my window, colosseum about 5 min walk away, perfectly located to be able to do every major site in Rome on foot(if your not afraid of walking like) only thing That’s slightly out of the way is the Vatican but I did actually walk back from there and was only like 30mins. Staff are super friendly and helpful, rooms basic but modern and clean ... and there’s such a selection of bars and restaurants a stones throw away. Would highly recommend . .

Great location, room wasn't cleaned. Hotel de Rome is in a great location, we basically walked everywhere from the hotel. Staff are lovely, really welcoming Our room was small but comfortable, only slept there as spent most of the day sightseeing. Only downside was that it was quite noisy, had a lot of banging throughout the night and early morning. Think it was because restaurant underneath being renuvated . Also our room wasn't cleaned during our short stay which was disappointing Overall though decent hotel for what we paid. .

Nice hotel . Excellent view from the window. Reception isn't connected to the rooms (rooms are located in other part of building and has separate entrance). It wasn't easy to find reception, because of it is invisible.. .

Stones throw from the Colosseum. Booked this trip for my boyfriend's birthday and chose this hotel because it was close to the Colosseum. We were not disappointed at all. The location was fantastic, it was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly and the mattress was the most comfortable one we've ever come across. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.. .

Perfect location & amazing service from staff. The hotel was located in the perfect place with restaurants right outside the hotel, 2 minuet walk from the strip of shops,restaurants and bars. The coliseum was less than a 10 minuet walk, the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. She helped with getting around and answering all our questions, would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again.. .

Fantastic location next to the Roman Forum & the Colleseum . Hidden away in an old building next to the Roman Forum this is a little gem of a hotel. If you don't mind quirky but like comfortable & clean then this is the hotel for you. The bed was comfortable & the shower refreshing. There was a little noise in room 404 from an extractor fan from a restaurant nextdoor which was located outside the window but we were so exhausted from walking all day that we slept through the noise. There was alot of information about local attractions & the receptionist was very friendly & helpful, with perfect English language skills. There was a lovely restaurant across from the hotel entrance which did a delicious breakfast. We will be returning. . .

Very small attic-like room. We stayed with my wife for 2 nights at the end of June 2014. We got the double-room with Queen bed for about $175 per night. We would not stay here again or recommend this place. We knew the room will be small but it was on the third floor and only had a tiny skylight so it felt like an attic. This is a very small hotel and I have no idea why it is 4 stars, feels like no more than 3 for sure. The location is OK but would probably not pick this area next time.. .

Nice modern hotel, good location for tourist sites. We selected this hotel because of its location, price and seeming modernity. We were not disappointed on any account. Breakfast could be a little more varied, but the food was fresh and tasty.. .

Once finished, will be nice!. Great location. This will be nice when they finish the building works, which were not mentioned when this hotel was booked through hotels.com! There were a number of 'issues' on my arrival but the staff were good and I was only there for a few hours (late night arrival, early morning start), I would not have been so pleased if I was staying longer. The room was OK but there are clearly building works going on and the room was not finished completely. Room was very bare but the shower worked and bed was OK, which are the main things. Struggled with the WIFI as there were about 15 ones to choose from and late at night I gave up. Not the worst place but not the best either. however for the cost and the location I would visit again but would check it was finished first.. .
