Acanthe - a little gem in Boulogne Billancourt.. You can tell that the Acanthe has been totally refurbished not too long ago. I stayed here years ago and it was tired and grim, now it has been transformed and lacks for nothing - the rooms are very nicely refurbished, the showers are amazing, there are all the mod cons you would expect (good wifi, safe, tv, kettle, air con, nice bathroom) and the rooms are quiet. The public areas offer a pool table, small bar and breakfast area and it's right by a metro station. Perhaps more visible staff would be welcome, as they only had one person on the reception desk at 8AM checkout time, leading to a long queue. Other than than, an excellent choice, making the nearby Marriott Courtyard seem way too overpriced in comparison.. .

Hotel Acanthe is a wonderful place to stay!!. Hotel Acanthe was perfect for a trip to Paris with my son. The hotel was modern and had every amenity that was required. We were there for the Rugby World Cup, and it was nice that they have a large quality television with all of the channels in many languages. We were able to watch all of the games that we were unable to attend personally. It was also record-breaking heat in Paris during our trip, but the rooms are equipped with very good air conditioning. It is in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a Metro Line, so it is very easy to get there, with the Metro openings on both sides of the hotel, and easy to reach all areas of Paris. I would highly recommend it for trips by one or two people. The rooms are too small for more than two.. .
