Great location. Great view. Lovely staff.. Staff here were absolutely great - made me feel very welcome. I'd highly recommend paying a little extra for the sea view, since that was an absolute bonus, especially to wake up to in the morning. The location is very central, meaning it's easy to walk to the Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), then Hagia Sophia. An even shorter walk in the opposite direction, there's a little quarter with many seafood restaurants (with live musicians adding to the experience, if you feel like welcoming them near your table). I highly recommend this hotel, and shall stay again on my next visit to Istanbul.. I got back to the hotel after midnight, so had a slight fear that I wouldn't be able to get back in because my key didn't open the front door. After a wait of less than ten minutes, a helpful member of staff appeared and let me in. Not a perfect system, but if you're aware of the system then it just requires a tiny bit of patience..

Passable. It was worth the money.. I, a rather tall person, was given a room for dwarfs. To get to the toilet you have to bend down twice. It was very funny. The room we were given had low ceilings and small windows overlooking the wall, there was nothing like that in the photo. They did not offer a nice room, and I had no desire to ask for one. The breakfasts were very bad. The room smelled of sewage from the toilet. We took the accommodation only for sleeping, it served its purpose..
