Curio implies quirk…fabulous stay!. Hilton Curio implies to me you will find a quirk from a regular bog standard Hilton and we did. It is a relatively small cozy hotel. It reminded me of a National Trust property, the mansion of millionaire transformed into an hotel and it was. We had a complimentary welcome drink on arrival whilst we were checking in. Manon checked us in and she was polite, professional and lovely. Complimentary drinks, macaroons and a welcome card waiting in our room. Again complimentary drinks and a card on our last night in Paris. We were acknowledged by all staff on entering and leaving the hotel. The staff and the service were superb. George, I believe his name was, a tall man on the concierge desk was extremely helpful. He kindly pointed out that we would have to leave earlier than anticipated to the airport due to a road block. We stayed for a week and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. Items were continuously replenished and a good selection was on offer. Never once had to ask for anything as it was always there. You could ask for omelettes etc. The location was central and we were able to walk everywhere. There was a metro station and a train station close by. It was in a quiet location down a side road and no disturbance. There was some wear and tear as already noted by another reviewer but this did not detract from our stay. It was clean and that is the overriding issue for me. Sustainability was good as we were able to replenish our water bottles from the water fountain on each floor. The IT system on our departure was down and we could not verify our bill. On arrival home we received a bill and noticed that we had been overcharged in error, we emailed the hotel and the amount was credited to our account. A pending amount of £125 sat on my card a week after we left and I had to emailed again and it was cancelled. This was a tad annoying as the same thing happened at the Hilton in Berlin. So this is clearly an issue with Hilton as a chain and not the hotel. We plan to return to the hotel, it was a perfect stay. Thank you to all the staff.. .

Good stay in Paris. The location was excellent for exploring Paris, in a very nice and safe area. The staff were very pleasant and friendly.. Typical to Paris, the price was expensive for the size of room. The room was supposed to be served with 2 fresh bottles of water daily which didnt happen - traveling with a newborn this was a little frustrating. Finally, we requested 1hr late check out which was denied..

Simply the best!. I loved their hospitality, friendliness & professionalism. I had a warm & seamless reception, thanks to Marie-Frances and her colleagues. Was also lucky to get an upgrade to a premium room with a terrace, which had amazing views. I highly recommend this hotel.. .

Take a blanket with you!. . It was my second time at Maison Astor, this time my room ( 512 ) ( the same category as the first time wasn’t nice. Has a long corredor hall but the room itself was quite small! The room was too cold! The AC works only for cold and apparently heating season only starts in November!.
