Disappointing. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The location of the hotel was very convenient cause it's on the Istiklal street which is the central one connecting the Taxim square to the Galata tower. If you need absolute silence to sleep at night though, you might have an issue since it's a crowded and busy street even late at night.. The living was very unpleasant and difficult because there was a non-stop terrible smell from the bathroom pipelines. And it wasn't only in our room. When the empty apartments' doors were open you could understand the bad smell while going down the stairs. Also the WiFi routers were only in the 1st and 3rd floor. So if your apartment is on the 2nd floor you'll probably have a problem connecting to the internet. If it wasn't for the bad smell, I would have a really good experience in the hotel..

Don't be fooled by the good location and the low price. This is a shit-hole to be avoided.. you get what you pay for which wasn't clear from the website. The location is fabulous. The rest is a hotel where you can rent the room by the hour.. Almost everything.

Very basic , only suitable for one night if desperate.. Bed mattress was comfortable but pillows were not
Good location for shopping street. We stayed on 4th floor and stairway is spiral and very steep.
Smell from sewage pipe constant throughout stay in room.
No wifi on 4th floor
No hot water sometimes in bathroom
Noise from street and opposite mosque particularly at call for prayer time.
Reception man poor english
Room was dirty. Not cleaned daily during stay.

Glad to find this place. It was a better option with nice price and quality for a quick stopover. Very helpful and nice staff, the receptionist helped us to call the taxi driver and gave us the better room with nice view. It was convenient location we could walk to see the main sights. There was no hot water in the bathroom.
