. THE LOCATION! The hotel is a delight to see and be in. Beautifully remodelled. Looks very cool! Steps away from the Galata bridge and Krakoy ferries. Convenient! I was less impressed with the offerings for breakfast. But the cafe zone and the breakfast set-up are just imeccable! All in all, solid 5 out of 5.. .

Bir daha kesinlikle gitmeyeceğim bir yer. Hiç memnun kalmadım. Yatak çift kişilik belirtildiği gibi büyük yata değildi 2 yatak birleştirilmiş, sürekli yatak yerinden kayıyordu küçücük tek yatakta iki kişi yatmak zorunda bırakıldık. Yek kişilik yorgan yerine iki adet küçük yorgan koyulmuştu. Tek iyi olan şey temizlikti başka hiç bir şekilde bu otelde konaklamam. . .

. I would not recommend staying at Galatahan Hotel based on our recent experience. After asking for help multiple times with our room, we were informed by the receptionist that none of the air conditioning units in the building were working, as the hotel had not switched from heating to cooling due to the weather, even though it was 75° outside. The temperature in our room reached 86°F (30° C) at night, and despite opening the windows, it was completely unbearable. We asked the front desk for assistance or a room change and were met with complete refusal. We even requested someone come to the room to help us figure out the unit, and that was also denied. At no point were we offered an alternative room or a working A/C unit. Ultimately, we had no choice but to book another hotel — not because we “had to leave early,” as the hotel falsely claimed in response to our refund request, but because basic comfort and hospitality were not provided. The hotel later stated that the A/C was working and that we declined a room change, which is simply not true. My partner was present throughout the entire interaction, and we both stand by our account. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to issue a refund, even though the booking was made in good faith with the expectation of standard amenities and customer service, both of which were clearly lacking. I appreciate the travel agency’s efforts to advocate for us, but sadly, Galatahan Hotel refused to take any responsibility. . .

Great location and friendly staff. This place is in a fantastic location! You can easily walk to all the main attractions in the city centre. There are loads of great restaurants and bars nearby, which means it can get a bit lively and hard to get a good night’s sleep (especially on a Saturday night). Nonetheless, the hotel has a lovely rooftop with stunning views of the city and the Galata Tower. The breakfast (8:00 am to 10:30 am) changes every day, so you get to try different Turkish flavours. I wish they had some international options too, though. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and they made us feel right at home. There’s always someone to greet you at the door and to offer you local tips.. .

The worst experience ever!. 1)Breakfast is AWFUL! Every dish was VERY OILY and cold,never fresh bread and bugs in the milk. The breakfast times was 8:30 -10:30 and kitchen stuff were taking ALL FOOD at 10, and when I tried to ask “why”, they said me “not my business!” 2)Our flight was early in the morning and I kindly asked to pack us lunch boxes and they gave us WHITE bread with us, nothing else. 3)the working personal was ALWAYS super rude.Room door went broken and it was not closing properly-> we have informed about this problem to stuff and NO ACTION was taken. We have informed 5 TIMES again after-all about the same door problem and it was never fixed. This hotel is waste of money! Do not recommend to stay there and waste your nerves!. .

Good value for Money in Galata. The hotel is conveniently located in Galata, close to both the tower and Karakoy/Galata bridge. The room was spacious enough, however the windows are not double-glazing therefore the noise was quite pronounced especially late in the evening, since the window was over a main street with noise throughout the night. Continental breakfast was decent, no European style coffee (only filter and Turkish coffee). Level of cleanliness fair. Overall good value for money at the price I paid.. .
