. This place was really loud at night. Also there are no screens so there were bugs biting us that were coming in the open window that is was the only ventilation because there was no AC.
The location was very central and great for walking and wandering the tourist shops and restaurants.. .

. I want to use all my words as efficient as I can to keep this review short for those who need. One star goes to horrible quality (wasted, broken, must refreshed) of the bed! I knew room was tight and bathroom even tighter but multiple futures of the bathroom was out of use, fully custom made (try to made) tiny bathroom was a pain but even bigger pain was the response from the receptionists. They were so unpleasant to intake the problem and absolute zero solution to change the bed. I didn’t even mention all other problems in the room that needs help but bed! I had to stay for three nights but it hurts even more to see people behind that small reception letting you know administration of the establishment do not care. I told them about the problems in the room three times and added that be ready for a very sad but true review. I do not recommend Galatahan.. .

Friendly Staff!. Check in was easy and the location is great! Shower door in our room didn’t really close and the first night the AC went out, however; that issues was quickly resolved. The breakfast was a pretty great way to start off day, which getting anywhere from here was very easy due to the close public transportation. I’d recommend the hotel if you don’t mind some minor issues.. .

Amazing affordable hotel in the best area. Would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Istanbul
The value for money here is insane - for such an affordable hotel, the rooms were clean, modern, spacious, great mirrors & lighting, many plug sockets & storage options. Fresh water bottles are brought to your room everyday too

The location was our favourite thing for sure though - just below the Galata Tower, the street has some beautiful buildings and cafes as you walk down. Just a stones throw is the beautiful main cobbled walkway down from the tower which has so many food options too
The main road could be noisy but honestly once the windows were closed we had no trouble sleeping at all, the beds were so comfy which certainly helped too!
Great hotel would 100% stay again . .

. The hotel is perfectly placed for all tourist attractions. Tha afternoon receptionist was just lazy and quite frankly shouldn't be in hospitality. The morning guy was very helpfully, polite and friendly. Overall great location and good price. . .
