Art City Hotel Istanbul - Boutique Class. The location of the hotel was great. The staff was professional and accommodating. We booked a standard room that was supposed to be a queen bed, but was given a double bed. Upon asking for another room, the staff informed me that they were completely booked. The double bed was uncomfortable. The room's shower head was broke during our stay.. .

Near to sites!. Short stay (one day) so being centrally located was essential. Helpful, friendly staff. Roadworks right by hotel was not ideal, but short term issue which should be completed by now. Great cost to quality ratio. Neat, clean rooms.. .

. First thing first, the room that I booked wasn't available, they offer me a "room" that was an ex-garage transformed by them in room.
The second thing, I paid them 45 euro for private transfer to airport...Guess what, on the way to airport the driver stopped at a hotel and picked-up a couple that paid 20 euro for same trip, I tried to explain to the driver that I paid 45 euro for private transfer("I don't speak English" was the driver answer)
The third thing, the bed linen was very dirty.
In the restaurants, the waiters are very greedy, if you don't pay attention, they will extra charge you.
Conclusion, I'll never travel again to Turkey. .

Location Excellent. Breakfast tops. Staff fabulous. Very generous and helpful staff, gave me some Turkish lessons as well. Breakfast was excellent in all aspects and there was always a good variety and always fresh. Ocean view room was good value and looked beautiful when i walked in. Had some hot water issues that were fixed straight away. Location spot on.. .

if you don't mind the climb, it's fine. only reservation is location: it is a good 250-meter steep climb to the nearest eateries, and another 150 to the tram stop. some of the rooms are not accessible by elevator: 28 or more stairs each way is required. other than that, the place, while a bit in need of an upgrading, is fine.. .

Disappointing. It was disappointing from the beginning, I reached Istanbul around 10:00AM and they did not allow me to take the room until 1:00PM which was OK. but then they told me I have to pay for the room as the credit card did not work. so i showed him the Expedia confirmation letter and that the full amount is already paid so he pretended to check again and then said: Oh yes it is OK you dont have to pay.
Then when I came back to get the room keys they told me that I have to pay an extra amount as I got the room in a low season price and now it is a higher price so I have to pay the difference. I did not accept to pay and told them that this why I have made my plans and reservation in advance, in order to get a better price than a last minute reservation. So he became really rude and started shouting and telling me Ok you can have a refund if you want and again I did not accept as it was a season and I will not find any other room easily. So again he started shouting and saying Ok but remember you got the room in a low price, and he shouted at my friend who was with me and told her you are not allowed to go to the room or visit your friend (which was OK if he said it nicely).
The room was also not clean and they removed the mini fridge from the room. Towels were dirty I had to buy mo own from there so I will not need to use theirs.. .

The room were very dusty and dirty.Hair and rubbish everywhere.They didn’t clean our room evening after requesting .Staff were very rude and threatening.Felt very unsafe .Never to go back in that place again.It was horrific !!!! The picture of the place on the web are different to what we got.Breakfast is on ground floor not what picture are showing .Never to recommend to person or animal!! . .
