Disappointed with the quality and experience that we had in this hotel, NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.. Our family of eight recently stayed at the Elite World Comfy Istanbul Taksim Hotel. During our swimming in the hotel's swimming pool, several of us experienced irritated eyes and sore throats afterward. We suspect this was due to poor water quality and excessive chlorine levels, as my wife's expensive swimsuit also discolored after swimming.
The hotel's pool manager declined to accept responsibility, stating that the issue was with our swimsuits rather than the pool water. Additionally, upon our arrival, we encountered several issues with our initial room assignments, including broken toilet flushes, bidets, and cigarette odors despite our request for non-smoking rooms.
The breakfast buffet offered average quality food, and the hotel's elevators were frequently busy or malfunctioning. I should mention that the staff were helpful and polite but overall, the hotel appears outdated and in need of renovation to meet the standards of a four-star establishment. Based on my experience with numerous five-star and four-star hotels, I would not recommend this hotel in its current state.. .
