Pleasant. A splendid location for seeing the Sagrada Familia. Just around the corner with views of the towers from both the roof terrace and our room. Easy parking below the hotel.. This is a mass-tourism, Ryanair-type Barcelona hotel with OK rooms but generally unwelcoming and unfriendly.
We needed to contact reception at 6.30pm to get the room cleaned and were initially told that we were mistaken - we had to show the supervisor and, even then, got no apology. Breakfast not very pleasant and the terrace is security and plastic glasses - not exactly a sophisticated place to enjoy an drink and the view.
Multiple messages on confirming payment methods, pre-check-in, tour offers, airport transfers, reviews etc. despite us phoning to confirm and reserve parking in Spanish..

Superb. Few feet away from Sagrada Familia Basilica , they also has rooftop bar were you can see the church! Staff is good and room is clean, only down side is no cofee available in the room when we asked for it the staff informed us they will bring kettle but they didnt lol. .

Rooftop View of Sagrada Familia. The food/drinks, service and rooftop view of Sagrada Familia exceeded my expectation. I ordered pulled pork tacos and beer. The tacos were juicy and tasty. Well worth the visit. The restaurant provides blankets if you feel cold. The weather was sunny on the day of my visit. So the photos I took came out to be very nice.. .

Location is good. That's all.. Unfortunately, I had serious problem. I understood Alfred handled well. But I unavoidable for worst rating.
I accepted any problem, no wi-fi password in the room, cleaning time is late too much (2nd day), hadn't been cleaning (3rd day), even if I found a insect on my clothes when I woke up. Finally I had to laugh.
But I never forget the receptionist (she has tattoo on her neck) said " Huh!?!?!? I'm receptionist!! ( You are noisy! I never care your problem! )" with a devilish face when I complained.
I was disappointed and feel sad very much what the memory of Barcelona is worst due to " Huh!?!?!? ".
By the way most receptionist didn't say "Hola" even I said.. .

Choose a different hotel. Not a great experience. Found staff at front desk, manager and the restaurant to be unwelcoming and rude. I arrived early and waited in the lounge area until my room was ready a few hours later. Attendant at desk said they don’t help you with luggage to your room. Discovered they do have a bellman’s cart. If he told me that I would have used it.
I reserved the room with the Sagrada
Familia view. (Only reason I booked in this area was to be close to the cathedral). Considering it is probably the most requested due to the view, you would think it would be updated. I saw the other rooms from travelers and they were nicer. Bathroom was not very clean and black mold present in the shower/bath corners, mascara residue on mirror. The manager took me up to my room and said to let them know if I needed anything. In the middle of the night discovered phone was dead. Walls are thin. Manager said they shut off AC in November.
No ceiling fan and I was so hot during the night.
Furniture is painted over and not much counter.

Minimal toiletries offered, small packs of a couple tissues and make up rounds but no shampoo, conditioner and body wash as seen in pictures. A full box of tissues would have been nice since I was coming down with a cold. The TV was only in Spanish (Catalan), no English channels. I did appreciate the gentleman (the guy not wearing glasses)

The room was definitely not worth what I paid.
I recommend to stay in the Gothic Quarter.. .
