Fabulous stay, great location and safe area. The hotel was in a brilliant location, very central to the places we wanted to visit. The room was basic, but clean and perfect for what we wanted. Most of the staff were very friendly (there was just one, he wasn't rude but wasn't friendly on arrival either), great communication from Claire before we arrived, lovely young girl on the front desk, and friendly manager who sorted out an issue for us. I have to say, i was pleasant surprised by the breakfast, i thought it was going to be very minimal, but actually it was the opposite. A fab breakfast, plenty of choice from cheeses, meats, cereal, toast, eggs, fruit, and a good selection of drinks. Overall an excellent stay, and in an area that felt safe.. There wasn't a kettle in the room to do any hot drinks..

The bathroom was very small, no ventilation or heat and no place to put your affairs

Very good for the price, I’d definitely return.. Breakfast was great with a variety of options. Staff were attentive and refilled the breakfast area as necessary. The bathroom in our room was exceptionally clean (yay!!), as were the linens. Halls and room were clean, too. It was quiet, and I enjoyed my time there. I liked the “street-style” theming/styling, although my friend thought it was a little kitschy.. Front desk was occasionally unmanned - and we had to leave the keys without formally checking out. Room was a little tired (baseboards needed to be replaced)..
