Hotel Santa Maria è molto buono. My wife and I had the pleasure of spending part of our 25th anniversary at Hotel Santa Maria, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel is a quiet oasis in the heart of Trastevere, offering the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and convenience.
The location couldn’t be better—nestled in one of Rome’s most picturesque neighborhoods, with cobblestone streets, lively piazzas, and fantastic restaurants just steps away. Despite being in the midst of it all, the hotel itself is wonderfully peaceful, allowing for a restful retreat after a day of exploring.
Service was excellent across the board, all employees with whom we came
in contact... but a special shoutout goes to Armando, who went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. He arranged a fantastic dinner reservation for us, adding a thoughtful touch to our celebration. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel truly valued as guests.
If you’re looking for a charming, well-located, and impeccably run hotel in Rome, Hotel Santa Maria is an excellent choice. We left with beautiful memories and would absolutely stay here again.. .

Fabulous hotel.. The hotel was in the perfect location for seeing Rome, approx half an hour from all the big sites. Trastevere itself was a fabulous, bustling area full of good eateries. The hotel was private, secure and quiet. The staff were all super friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. The lovely guy on the reception (Andreas? )recommended some fab restaurants to us and was very welcoming. Kevin the barman was also brilliant, as were all of the breakfast staff. Would recommend visiting the bar at happy hour for the lovely snacks. The room was a great size and very clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.. Nothing.

Exceptional. The staff went above and beyond. They were super attentive. They let us park early before our check in and made us a special breakfast platter as we were leaving before the buffet opened.
The property is located in the heart of Trastevere and it is manicured.. The mattress could be better..

Definitely a quaint boutique motel, and I would definitely refer them. Would stay there again.. It seems to be a great place. It was raining really hard when we got there so we didn’t get to see much of the outside, but the staff was great. They also arranged for us to be picked up for an early morning ride to the airport. The ride was on time. Got there on time no stress at.. We didn’t stay there long enough to have any complaints so I don’t have any complaints.
