All together it is a lovely place ,great location, beautiful roof terrace where we get the breakfast and supernice staff.. It is a nice hotel with great location, very nice staff. The bed is comfortable and the room is spacious.
It is clean and we got good bathroom products.the staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast should have better bakery and a bit more healthy options.the bakery was very bad unfortunately (especially considering that we were in Italy). It would be good to have more veggies and juices and also proper eggs(not from powder)The hotel was not renovated for a while but it is still very clean but I guess a renovation will be needed in a few years ..

Needs modernisation to be a 4* hotel. Sadly, this hotel has seen better days. The exterior is lovely and it's in a really great location: near the metro, near the river, in a smart neighbourhood that's a bit less touristy, not too far from the Vatican etc, lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly too. Even though it's on the corner of a main road, it wasn't that noisy.
If it were a 3* hotel I'd say 'it's a bit basic but fine for a short stay'. As a 4* hotel it needs to modernise and upgrade. The building was clean (I think) but it didn't look it. The shower in my room was clean but old and crusty, and it leaked. The hot water got lukewarm fairly quickly. There was no duvet on the bed, just a sheet and a very old-looking bedspread that I wouldn't have wanted to sleep under, had the room not been so cold. The mattress was very lumpy. The light switches didn't all work; the magnetic stripe on the key card was stuck on with sellotape. The breakfast was very poor quality - barely anything looked fresh or appetising. (It's an old building so the insulation isn't great, but that's to be expected.)
All in all, if you go in summer, don't plan to spend much time in your hotel and aren't a breakfast person, it's probably fine. It wouldn't cost that much to make it a far nicer place to stay, though.. .

Clean and Good Customer Service. The room was clean and air conditioned. The bathtub leaked water no matter how much we tried to position the glass that swung into you as you showered. Customer Service from front desk staff and breakfast waitress was excellent. The breakfast was okay. Most items were packaged cakes and croissants or canned fruit. Limited fresh fruit option including peaches, plums and cut watermelon. No glutine free bread/crackers. Breakfast did include eggs, bacon, cold cuts (that looked day old), pancakes, yogurt and cereal. The distance by foot was a little too far for our family. If you are okay with walking and outside the action and also not a breakfast person it'll be an okay place to stay.. .

Please read for a honot even coffee and tea in room or hotel...nest review. Well, well, well if you like staying in a hornets nest go for it..
It felt like every one was in a mood because we where on holiday the breakfast lady very rude she even hit my hand for putting toast in the toaster twice as it does not cook unless its placed in the toaster 3 times omg....
Not much fresh choice of food and you feel your being watched.
Rooms are clean however very dated, had to ask to move from one room with a dehumidifier and paid extra! Not central and although you can use the metro, we used taxi's. This is cheaper than the UK but costly if you were here for longer than a few days.
There is a very small bar in the hotel but it felt more like a hostel, no one hangs around the hotel and you ask the receptionist if you want a alcoholic drink. Possibly great if you want to be out of tourist areas, can start the day without a breakfast and only want basic rooms. The bathrooms have beautiful ceilings and all rooms had high ceilings, however as previous reviews its very dated and could do with being updated cosmetically. Not a 4 star, I would say 2 possibly a 3. Please read reviews and book something else if you want a 4 star hotel.. .

A most enjoyable stay. A fairly central lovely family hotel with very clean comfortable rooms. The staff are all very friendly and helpful offering information and advice on tours and restaurants. Breakfast served on the roof terrace is good and plentiful. Room 46 has a lovely outdoor, well furnished patio. A great place to sit sipping a chilled glass of wine while watching the sun go down. I would recommend the Farnese if you are visiting Rome A most enjoyable stay. .

Over night in Roma. The location is fantastic - in a residential area and close to a great shopping street and the river/tourist attractions. The roof terrace is beautiful, and the staff are helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. I recommend the balcony rooms.. There was nothing I didn't like..
