The hotel is beautiful, staff is helpful and service very good but facilities needs repair.. The pool was great, this was the main reason I choose this hotel. The territory of the hotel is like small oasis in the middle of Rome. The staff was helpful and kind. Very close to Ciampino Airport, with taxi 15 min. Bus stop is also close, 200 m from hotel. But if you want to use metro then you have to take first the bus to get to metro station. Breskfast was tipical italian breakfast and rather modest🙂, lots of sweets. But there was also ham, cheese and eggs. Bathroom was ok, towels were available and shower worked properly.. Facilities needs repair. Bring your own beach towels if you want to use towel near the pool. If you want to go to the city with public transport then you have to consider with 1 hour. The buss was always late but I guess this is normal for a Rome..

Would definitely return. A lovely end to two weeks in Italy.. Pool, patio, restaurant, room size, bathroom. A bit noisy by the restaurant at night.

Overall nice hotel with a great pool. The pool was big and clean and well needed in the heat, also not too crowded. Our room was very clean and spacious with AC and tv and a mini fridge. The restaurant in the hotel next doors (ristorante da Luigi at hotel orto di Roma) was great!. The outdoor area, house building and garden could need a bit more love and restoration, it looked like the place once has been thriving but maybe got run down after the pandemic and now trying to build up again. Some of the staff were nicer than others. The breakfast was ok but could be better with less sweet options and more savory. The Ristorante Palmieri was only average (go to the other restaurant next doors)
It’s about 40-50 minutes to the city center with public transport and 20 min by car, easy to get taxi during the day but not during the evening..

Exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, when had a problem with the plugs and a charger from another country, at reception they looked everywhere to find a converter and when could not find it they provided us with both an apple and an android charger to use while we stay there. The stay wss very comfortable and the property was just beautiful.. The distance to the tourist areas is alittle far, although in day time you can easily choose between cabs, buses and metro, if you decide to stay out late it might be a little difficult since finding a cab at night wasn't so easy..
