Aggressive staff that will literally attack a woman and horrible management that refused to look at the camera for proof. First thing that happened was us arriving to the hotel and asking for a reservation when Mr.Fatih asked me of I ever stayed in a hotel in my life to imply that I asked a stupid question ( my question was to learn more about the checkout time). After we moved on from the subject because my sister really wanted that hotel. And we paid for 6 nights but they refused to issue a proof of payment to us. Later, when my sister wanted to extend her stay the second employee at reception Mr.Mert told her that she didn't make any payment yet and asked her for proof of payment (not nicely or politely, literally accusatory and rude) to which she dug up bank app notifications and showed him and then he miraculously found the payment proof then. She asked him for 4 more days in the hotel and he chose to mansplain to her and asked her when is her flight and she explained that it doesn't matter and she would like to pay whatever is needed for 4 days. He told her an amount and she paid. 3 days later Mr.Fatih stops us in the hotel lobby and tells us that our reservation is ended and WE NEED TO CHECKOUT in a very rude way. We tried to explain to him that we paid for 4 days but he refused to listen to us. Kept interrupting us and telling us you're wrong and you don't understand the system but in a very aggressive way. Then at some point he started raising his tone and showing physically that he's frustrated and told me that is started to get on his nerves!!! I responded with "why don't you just try to listen instead of screaming at us" to which he responded with standing up and physically pushing me out of the hotel. When my sister started screaming at him that he can't attack me he raised his hand to slap her!!!!!! My wife at that point got between them and took us out of the hotel and got back there and told him we would like to pay for an extra night and leave before this escalates into something ugly. He responded with " the room is available but I won't give it to you" I asked to speak to his manager and he said he's the God of this place. And called the police to use the advantage of his Turkish language to bully us. Police came to tell us that if we want to complain about him trying to hit us we need to go to the police station. We got out of the hotel and two hours later called "Burcu" the manager of the hotel. She responded with saying I'm on vacation and I will get into this when I come back and check the cameras. 30 seconds on the phone later she said that she doesn't actually need to check the cameras and said that "her friend Fatih was never rude to anyone before" Disgusted by the staff and the management equally and hoping for a future where people don't resort to violence and aggression (especially against women) to hide their fragile ego/masculinity. .

Comfortable, warm, well-located. Large comfortable double bed, excellent location in the heart of Taksim, attentive staff providing daily complimentary tea, coffee, toiletries and drinking water. Excellent hot powerful waterfall shower. Good heating / AC system - powerful!. Could improve shower with a partition to prevent water leaving the shower..

Recommended. A great hotel in superb location! We stayed there for 5 nights and were very happy with our stay. Hotel is located next to Taksim square. The main plus was that it is just as super small hill to climb to reach Taksim, which is rare in this area. Rooms are on a smaller side, but has everything what’s needed. Windows have great sound isolation, which is important when you are in Istanbul. Breakfast was enough for us: you have boiled egg, cheese, some sausage, fresh vegetables, butter, spread cheese, and other sweet spreads. Also bread and coffee/tea. Breakfast are similar every day, except for buns/breads. Usually you get something new every day. I would stay there and would recommend it for my friends and family.. .
