Decent hotel, good location, great staff.. I'm a returning guest, so I mainly got what I expected: Good location, great staff and a good breakfast, as usual.. To my surprise at checkin I found a size big McDonald's coke with the straw on my desk, together with 2 eurocents and the paper sheet for the room card, most probably of the previous guest. Otherwise the room was obviously cleaned and prepared, so no idea how did that come. There was also some strange smell, but opening the window resolved it..

Overall great experience we liked our stay!. I liked that the staff were friendly, cleaning of the room was good they made sure we were satisfied. The location was good and it felt safe for us.. We didn’t like that the balcony door was hard to close there was a space making it cold sometimes and loud as you could hear the traffic..

Recent Visit. Lovely hotel, with fantastic staff, special mention to Micaela on reception who went out of her way to let me know that my room was ready early. The lady in the bar was also especially very friendly and helpful. Rooms were well appointed and clean, excellent breakfast. My only one slight criticism was the bar closing at 10.00pm on week nights. Very strange for a great hotel in one of Europe’s major cities. But apart from that it’s a fabulous place to stay.. .

Great hotel!. My partner and I visited U232 Hotel in December 2024 and we could not recommend it enough for anyone visiting Barcelona. The location, a block away from the L5 Hospital Clínic Metro Station, is excellent. It is an extremely commutable hotel as everything is either a walk away or a short metro ride away. Our room was also fantastic. We opted to go for a room with a balcony and this was a great choice. Not only were we able to sit outside and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city life, we also were given free wine for my partner’s birthday - a lovely gesture from the staff. As for the cleanliness of the room, there was no issues. Every day we returned from sightseeing, we found the room to be extremely well made with fresh linen, towels, and extras such as tea and coffee. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome on check-in.. A very modern approach during the check-in was to use a tablet to receive our details. They were also great in explaining the legal requirements of our stay in English, which was a great touch as our Spanish and Catalan is very limited. Overall, if you are looking for a hotel for either a business trip or just a leisure trip, we would highly recommend U232 Hotel. Thanks for the amazing stay!. .

Very bad experience at this hotel! I will never come back!. My experience in the Interior Single Room without views (#706) was miserable and awful! The room was tiny and super dark, I felt like a prisoner. The only small window faced the inner part of the building, directly into other rooms. I had no privacy with the curtains open; and with them closed, it was completely dark. Even with the curtains open, almost no natural light came in, so I had to keep the lights on all day. The bed was small and uncomfortable, and I hated the hard pillows! My neck hurt every morning. The closet (more like a single small box section) didn’t fit much stuff. The fridge was tiny and filled with hotel products, so there was no room for my own snacks and drinks. The TV was small. No accessible power outlets near the bed. No toilet brush in the bathroom. The room wasn’t soundproof; I could hear hallway noise clearly. NEVER book an Interior Single Room without views if you value comfort! The front desk staff were mostly unfriendly. I was promised a free upgrade to a bigger room with a view, and after being given the key, the staff member told me there was an extra charge. I refused, and she had to restart my check-in from the beginning. Very unprofessional! The hotel’s location is awful! Nothing interesting or cultural nearby, just a boring residential area. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the city center. The rate I paid (€92 per night) was absolutely overpriced for that little dark room and my overall experience. From positives: pretty new, modern, and very clean hotel. Great-looking lobby. Generally nice-looking Interior Single Room without views, which I got (#706). Very good overall condition of all the furniture in my room. Super nice and elegant bathroom design made with marble. High-quality bathroom amenities with very pleasant scents. Fast hotel Wi-Fi. Free umbrellas available in the lobby if you need one. CONCLUSION: I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND staying at this hotel!. .
