We had a great stay at the hotel Balzac! The staff was super helpful and the design of the hotel is stunning.. Design of the hotel is stunning and the breakfast was superb. Nothing.

I stayed at Le Balzac Hotel for two nights right after Christmas. Overall, the experience was acceptable, but with some clear drawbacks.
The hotel is nicely decorated, with a tasteful and elegant design, and the staff members were consistently polite and friendly. That said, the rooms are very small. If you are traveling with two standard-sized suitcases, it becomes quite difficult to have both open at the same time, which impacts comfort.
The breakfast experience was disappointing. The format is somewhat odd and inefficient - service takes a long time, and the options are limited. You either receive a fixed menu from Angelina or order à la carte, which is very expensive for what it offers and nothing particularly memorable.
The spa also did not meet our expectations. The sauna door was not closing properly, making it hard to keep the temperature stable. No one seemed to address the issue; I temporarily fixed it using a door weight I found, but an employee later removed it, saying it was needed elsewhere. Additionally, we were unable to book a massage, as apparently only one therapist was working at the time.
In summary, Le Balzac is a pleasant-looking hotel with kind staff, but the small rooms, underwhelming breakfast setup, and poorly managed spa facilities made the overall experience just okay rather than truly enjoyable.. .

A beautifully designed hotel with strong comfort, but let down by inconsistent service, poor communication, and a lack o. We received a room upgrade on arrival, which was appreciated.
The hotel has a beautiful aesthetic and elegant interiors, creating a strong visual impression.
The bed was very comfortable.
Our top-floor room with a view added to the overall atmosphere of the stay.. Poor pre-arrival communication, with no response to emails regarding anniversary arrangements.
Lack of attention to special occasion recognition, with no meaningful anniversary gesture or follow-up during the stay.
Weak check-in experience, including a very brief room tour and no explanation of lighting or air-conditioning controls.
Service and detail lapses, such as a wrongly addressed welcome letter that was never corrected and missing in-room amenities (hairdryer, teaspoons, iron/steamer, toiletries).
Housekeeping inconsistencies, including non-replacement of items and faulty equipment being provided.
In room breakfast service issues, with missing condiments, utensils, small portions, and overall disorganisation.
Poor internal communication, highlighted by late delivery of important New Year’s Eve disruption information.
Comfort and practicality gaps, including a cold bathroom and very limited wardrobe space.
Inconsistent service levels, with noticeably better attentiveness only at check-out.
Overall, the stay lacked the service consistency, anticipation, and attention to detail expected of a Michelin-key hotel at this price point..

Hotel élégant et confortable près des Champs Elysées. Magnifique travail de décoration de l'hotel par les architectes d'intérieurs Parisiens, tout est du meilleur gout d'un raffinement absolu.
Très chouette sélection du mini bar, lit confortables et chambre assez spatieuses.. J'ai trouvé l'accueil mauvais, peut être parce que les deux comptoirs sont éloignés de l'entrée - mais on ne m'a jamais salué quand je rentrait dans le lobby et au check in comme au check out je n'ai pas trouvé le personnel très investi pour un cinq étoile. Je suis resté 4 jours quand même...Je trouve également dommage que l'eau minérale soit payante dans les chambres. Ce serait vraiment plus agréable également que le bar ferme plus tard et que le room service de nuit soit plus complet - rester dans la capitale dans un 5 étoile donne parfois envie de faire la fête et de rentrer tard à so hotel avec l'envie de boire un dernier verre à 2-3 h du matin ou de manger quelque chose qui ne soit pas le petit snack que l'on sort du réfrigérateur..
