Fantastic Stay!. I recentley stayed in Hotel Aniene and had an good experiance! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, Nice breakfast and the location was perfect, near to Metro station. I would higly recommend this hotel to all. One of the best budget hotels in Rome definitely ;). Hotel is nice, clean and the staff is superkind. Its smaller hotel - modern compared to some oldschool competition in Rome but it has nice rooms - well equiped for the money. This has been already my second stay (even the first one was more than 10 years ago). Its close to metro station and in walking distance you have some nice sightseeing opportunities and restaurants.. Probably only negative was smaller buffet breakfast - but really superb coffee! No automatic espresso - proper machine and you could even ask for cappucino for breakfast..
